Short family trip during rainy season

Hey guys,
Planning to take a short trip for about 2 nights. Was initially planning Ipoh, but seems like it's going to be rainy for the next few weeks. Any suggestions? Or is there any predominantly indoor attractions?

Not interested in Genting, since it's school holiday season.

MSI Laptop sudden shutdown when running games

Hi Sifus.
My MSI GT72 2QD have an issue of sudden full shutdown whenever I run games. It's like fully no power at all. I have to switch off power from the wall socket and turn it back on, in order to be able to restart the laptop.

Some details:
1. the shutdown can happen anytime between 2mins to 5mins of running games, with or without being plugged to power.
2. Temp for GPU when this happens is below 65C. CPU is about 50C.
3. If I'm not running games, the laptop behaves normally.
4. I tried using heavenmark, which also causes the shutdown issue.

I have attached the MSI Afterburner log. Not sure if you can point me to some clues for a fix. The laptop is out of warranty, and MSI official support requires about 2-3 days to diagnose and up to 14 days to order parts, which is a bummer. Hope you can point me to the right direction.

Kettlebells

Hi folks.
The kettlebell I got has a semi prominent indent, iron casted but coated with vinyl. When using it for snatch or presses, the indent makes it rather uncomfortable on the back of the forearm. Not sure if it'll be better with a more rounded surface.

Any advice on this? This kettlebell is called Maxx that I got from Fitness Concept, btw.

Need some assistance or guide as to how to add a CNAME entry into the DNS for a domain. The domain is registered via DomainRegistry.my, so I'm unfamiliar with how this can be accomplished.

Windows 7 - OEM version

Just learned something today after getting off the phone with Microsoft's customer service. Never realised this before. If you're using OEM version of windows and your motherboard fails or gets fried, you are out of luck. You'll need to buy a retail version to be able to continue using Windows

Too bad nobody explains this when you're buying a new PC and you opt to purchase an ori Windows to go along with it though.

PC fails to boot up

My PC fails to boot up. No sound of HD spinning and monitor doesn't receive any signal. My optical mouse works on my laptop but didn't light up when plugged into the PC. Is this potentially a PSU problem?

Trying to figure out which direction to go for Web Content Management Solution. Pretty open to both and also jsp or php. I've used Drupal before but not Alfresco, which I thought its main strength is in document management, rather than a WCMS. I'm just looking for something that can manage scheduled content uploads and also have a workflow or content approval manager.

Anyone with any experience handling websites with Alfresco before? What's your take on it?

Need your help to upgrade my gaming computer, since I'm totally not hardware savvy.

My current rig is:
E4500 @ 2.20gHz
4gb RAM
GeForce 9800GT

If I have about RM1.5k budget to upgrade is there any recommendations? Any reason why i5 or i7 is soooo much more expensive than AMD? Are there reliability issues with AMD?
