Unifi's TMRND router bridging

legstrong — Sun, 18 Sep 2011 04:07:27 +0800

Hi all!

Recently i've managed to tweak my TMRND router into the bridging mode to my new TP-Link router for Unifi internet access.

However, I lose my IPTV connection after doing so.

What i did was to delete my "PPPOE internet access" setting under SETUP>WAN CONFIG>WAN, after logging in under OPERATOR

Then i selected: Type- Bridge ; WAN device name- eth1.500 and clicked New connection

A new page came up (Bind to LAN Group) and i selected Data

So what i got now is a list of 3 configuration, namely

DHCP
IPTV
DATA

Following so, I plugged my BTU-Router cable to a LAN port, connecting the BTU LAN to the TMRND LAN slot, ie LAN 1 (and not on WAN slot)

I then placed another LAN cable on TMRND's LAN slot, ie LAN 2. This wire is connected to my TP-link router's WAN slot.

I managed to get my internet connection (after setting up my TP Link router through KLseet's Vlan tagging for UNIFI ) this way by compromising my IPTV service.

Strangely, when my BTU-TMRND LAN cable is plugged back to TMRND's WAN slot, the IPTV is back up.

So what i did after was to tag a eth1.700 DHCP internet line to TMRND's LAN 3 port and a bridge that connection across ala Rizvanrp's "using custom router" guide in hopes of getting the internet and IPTV together, unsuccessfuly. This could be due to the existing profile of TR069 that utilizes DHCP connection which i'm unsure of.

My question now is: how to delete the TR069 service?

i was wondering how many medical students are in LYN? Just to find out if i'm the only one busy reading forums instead of studying.

start introducing yourself by stating which medical college you in. You can also discuss the current medical college condition that you're studying, and to inform others about the pro's or con's about your college, or inquire us about the medical college you're interested in.
