Are Vespas a fav amongst bike thief?

Gais, me thinking of getting a used Vespa for daily commute.
Working around klcc. About a 5km ride to work each way.
2 questions:
1. Are they a favorite amongst bike thieves? Any particular model to avoid? Thinking of getting a 3-4 year old model.
2. Any good parking spot near klcc? Safe and cheap lah.
