Hey there, I work for a growing Response Center operator based in Petaling Jaya and we are looking to talk to freelance video animators to develop a clip showcasing our emergency services... We have our existing promo videos done some time ago but this are live-action, so we want to look at an animated one for a refreshing change.

FINTECH

Guys, have you heard of this new technology for the financial sector called FINTECH? I know it's already growing strongly in the global financial hubs in the USA and UK but I think it's still a very young thing here in Malaysia... But also one that's causing concern amongst the more traditional financial service providers, who are less reliant on software and can potentially lose business to these upstarts!

So what do you think of the growth of this new platform of doing financial business? I, for one, think that there is a massive potential for such technology since we Malaysians are generally quite tech-savvy people and love doing things on our smartphones, for convenience reasons. And with so many of us reliant on mobile devices to do things like banking, bill payment, hotel reservations, etc., it's only a matter of time before the traditional methods get pushed aside!

The Fintech revolution is already starting though, with someone I know dealing with an upstart Fintech provider that focuses on the huge motor insurance market in Malaysia - which is also expected to be de-tariffed in mid-2017, resulting in potential free-for-all amongst insurance companies, agents, and even future FINTECH providers for customers!
