Allowance considered as Salary?

Hi everyone

I'm in sales line currently being paid base salary and allowance (petrol, phone)

For example, basic is 2400. Allowance is 750.

So in future if I wanna change to desk job (basic salary).

Will my allowance be considered and included as basic salary?
Like 2400 + 750 = 3150.

Means I try to ask for 3500 next job. Instead of asking from basic 2400 to 2800.

Medical to Construction industry w/o qualification

Good day everyone,

I've a Degree in Business Management (First class) and very fortunate to be in the medical industry as sales rep for 1 year and a half without any medical qualification (small company SME). I love doing field work but don't have much interest in the medical industry.

Again I emphasize that I like to go on field to work but not in sales.

I'm currently looking into construction industry (Electrical / Civil) but I don't have any qualification related to construction. Only Degree in Business Management.

So my question, is it possible for me to switch from medical industry to the construction industry without qualification (Degree in Electrical/ Civil Engineering)? I don't mind starting from the bottom.

Please kindly advise, very much appreciated. Thank you.
