A little bit of background, i work in sinkie land at the APAC HQ as kuli but all the big boss of the MNC is situated here.

I was chatting with 1 of the big shot in the company the other day during pantry break. Then i ask him. "Woah boss, your team in Malaysia now very big har.. keep growing and growing."

He was telling me that Malaysia is a good place to invest in new headcount. Malaysian have advantage on bahasa and also to an extend, chinese. Indonesia is an emerging economy so its an advantage to be able to speak bahasa.

The cost of putting the headcount there now is also very competitive, on the low end (fresh grad or 1-2 year exp kind), Malaysia might be more expensive but on the high end (5-10 years exp), its almost similar with India.

This is because the market rate for increment in Malaysia is 4-6% while in India, their market all double digit increment.

This gives him as the big boss to create some backup plan to split his team that last time mostly in India to put half of them in Malaysia for redundancy in case shyt like kobis happen again.

We are talking about M40-T20 jobs here as the positions that he hire as far as i know are 5k above for those engineers and 10k above for seniors or managers.

So siapa kata ringgit turun tak baik? its creates an advantage for big corporate to setup their operations here and create jobs for the pipu. PMX must have considered this hence now S$1 = RM3.42 now.
Maybe i might be jobless soon or kena transfer back to Malaysia due to cost reduction.

Just came back from Semporna yesterday. Got a little soar throat and running nose. Did a rtk self test this morning show positive. Went and did PCR and waiting for result. Did another rtk just now still show positive. What’s next?? I took 3 dose of Pfizer edi. To be honest. Not much symptoms. Just like heaty body which I originally thought I got heat stroke coz went diving for 6 straight days and keep staying under the hot sun. Anyway I stay alone so self isolation is not an issue.

Any covid positive cat 1/2 people can share experience what’s next? Most likely tomorrow will get my PCR result.

Flying drone in Malaysia

12:!2 sales DJI got give like quite good promo. Thinking to get the DJI Mini 2. But I got 2 things that holding me back.

1. DJI mini 2 already launch more than a year. jangan jangan lepas beli 2-3 months later new one keluar then become sedih pulak.

2. what is the rules and regulation on flying drones in Malaysia. Any existing drone owners here can advice a bit?

The reason i looking to buy 1 is because i cuti cuti Malaysia quite frequently lately and think if can fly a drone to get some aerial footage of the places would be great. Does those resort allow you to fly them? For example like go Cameron Holiday can fly ur drone to take a video of those tea plantation ka?

Hopefully don't get some troll reply la because I can't find a sub section for drones to have to post in /k/.

Item(s) conditions: 3 years old item, Battery left 77%. Need to change a new battery if you want it to last whole day. now I use it, around 4-5pm already low. so have to bring power bank. Everything original and working fine, never send for repair before. The scratches on the bottom part paling teruk as per picture. It looks a bit teruk when do the macro shot with IP13 but when you pegang pegang you hardly see much. The scratches are mostly caused by dirt on the cover and movement so..... (harapkan pagar, pagar makan padi kind of scenario).

Langkawi weekend holiday

just came back for a 4d3n Langkawi solo travel. So I think I want to share my experience of the "bubble" a little bit.

Before I start, I stay alone in my own house and have been on 100% wfh since MCO start, so if i kena kobis or what also wont menyusahkan orang lain in my house hold since i alone.

I fly from JHB to LGK on the 17th and LGK to JHB this afternoon (20th Sept).
