‘Phantom child’ sends shiver down dad’s spine

A FATHER was shocked to see an apparition of a naked child behind his four-year-old son in a picture taken with a phone camera, Sinar Harian reported.

Zainolakhmar Saaban, 35, said he had snapped a picture of little Danish Hakimi at about 7.30pm a few days ago at their home in Kampung Solok Jenuang, Malacca.

“Looking at the picture again, I was shocked to see a ghostly image behind my son.

“The phantom child seems to be without any clothes and had long hair,” Zainolakhmar told the tabloid on Tuesday.

He said several photography experts he showed the picture to were equally baffled as to how the mysterious figure had appeared in the photo.

Adding to the puzzle, neighbour Zunita Mahad, 33, told the family she was stunned when she saw the picture as she had seen another child that resembled the ghostly image a few months back.

“My three children were playing and running around at our house when I suddenly noticed there was a fourth child with them.

“What shocked me was that the child-like figure in the picture looked similar to the kid I saw playing with my children,” she said.
