Indonesian Maid - Without passport

Hi,
My sis's mother in law maid recommended this Indon maid to me. Initially was told she does not have a work permit which is fine to me as i can apply for her work permit through MYEG. I estimate about 400-700 ringgit. But now i found out that she doesn't have a passport as well as her previous-previous employer in a factory did not pay wages and she ran away from is keeping her passport.

Any recommendation and advice on how to formalize this hiring legitimately. And how much is the total cost?

Hi all Sifus,
I plan to extend my wet kitchen and need some guides.

1) I planned to buy Buku Setara at Menara MBSA.
2) Submit the extension plan by ticking R.C Gutter, pay RM300 and for the Tong RORO.
3) My question is, after ticking my extension type, is that the standard design i must follow? Window location and Door location must also be exact?
4) Or can I get someone from MBSA to draw for me at cheaper rate than outside architect?

Hi all,
I wonder why vaccination for Phase 2 elderly in KL and Selangor is much slower than other state.
Taking example for my dad of 84yrs old living in KL and registered for vaccination on Feb 25. Up till now he is not scheduled for jab yet. The same situation for my friends and colleague's parents.
On the other hand, relatives in Penang, Perak and Sarawak can get a jab after only registered for 1 week.

Since about 6mths ago my Panasonic Aircond is too cold even after I set at 27C. I realised that there is clicking sound of the thermostat but it seems the cold air never turn off at all the whole night. This is unusual as last time it don’t behave that way where the cold air will cutoff leaving the fan when set temp is reached.

Any service expert here can advice of thermostat need to replace?

What to do with Air Well

Still thinking in what to do with this airwell.
When on Aircond, Aircond cool air will escape. If Lizard and spiders move in, it will be hard to clean.
Built a room/attic is expensive. Should I just close it with plaster ceiling ? Any better suggestion?

I tried to search but can’t find any readily available topics here.

In was previously living in Landed, then moved into Condo in DPC, but now is looking for landed again. Since I have gotten used to this area I am looking for NEARBY properties which is about 1-1.6M for landed.

I have shortlisted Sunway SPK Harmoni which is about within my budget. Just want to hear some comments from people who have stayed here. How do you feel about the access and the living environment in this Harmoni 3? How is the JMB doing? Please share.
