SLI: Code 12 in Windows 7

Hello everybody!

I just bought another 9800GTX+ card that is Zotac card to go SLI with the other one (ASUS EN9800GTX+) and there the problems started. As soon as I installed it I got this shaitzz:

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

So I had a hunt around the net and found most people have fixed this problem with a BIOS update, whether it be a newer or an older BIOS, so I tried the newer BIOS and same problem. Then I went through every single BIOS update on DFI's site and not one of them worked so now I am stuck, but I am wondering if there is any BIOS updates not listed on the DFI site to fix this issue as a quick google search reveals I am not the only person suffering this problem on the DFI NF4 SLI Infinity motherboard using either Windows Vista or Windows 7.

It is weird though when I go into safe mode both drivers work perfectly with no conflicts or loss of resources. I have tried changing resources manually but the option is just not there and on some devices "Assign resources manually" is greyed out. I have already tried turning off all un-needed devices such as IRDA, COM1+2, LPT1, Floppy Disk Controller as I am not using it. I've also even taken all of my PCI cards out and left just the two of ,my PCI-e 9800GTX+'s in and still the same.

It is weird though how the code 12 does not appear in safe mode which leads me to believe safe mode stops a driver or something from loading that causes the conflict. I do have the ntbtlog.txt files from when I started up in normal mode and safe mode to see if I could work out what driver was not loading in safe mode but I just couldn't filter through all the information in the files. I am pretty sure this is just a driver problem with Windows 7 as SLI works perfectly in my dual booted Windows XP installation.

If anyone knows how to go through all this information I will gladly post it here.

I hope I have given some knowledgeable person enough information here to be able to work out a solution for me. I check my email very often so if someone posts here I will know about it and reply quickly.

Thanks for your time reading through all that people hope someone can help. u guys the best...

P/S:
* PLs don't ask me to just buy a new mobo cuz i've just burned them for the sake of t e c h n o l o g y
* This thread i've taken somewhere in the net as his/her problem are just the same with me... (with some mods of coz )
