Hello...

I am using IE 7 and recently I found that it makes my system hangs up for about 1 minute every time after i saved a webpage.

Anyone here experienced this before? What is the cause? Is it my pc has virus or spyware?

I don't think that it is something related to virus or spyware. Have scan done, found nothing.

Please help....

Thank you very much!

HELP! Windows restarted mysteriously with FIREFOX!

Hello to everybody, I am a new user of this forum. Last two days, my Windows XP was restarted mysteriously without any warning when I browsed Friendster with Firefox 2 (once I open Firefox and wanna log in to Friendster).

Before it was restarted, the Friendster homepage was quite abnormal by keep on showing 'invalid user', but the page was normal when I use IE 7 to browse. I had never experience this before.

After I logged in to Friendster, just in a minute my Windows was restarted. After it was restarted, I try to use Firefox again but the same thing happened. Friendster showed 'invalid user' and now I even couldn't log in to Friendster. When I click 'log in', it just a flash and the same 'invalid user' page is shown.

Same situation (i.e windows restarted without warning once I browse with Firefox) has occured twice so I uninstalled Firefox 2 and scanned my computer for virus. I even tried virus scanning in safe mode, but no virus was found.

An error log has been created after I reboot my pc when finishing scanning in safe mode.

The log is as below:

The system has recovered from a serious error.
A log has been created

Error signature
BCCode : 9c BCP1 : 00000005 BCP2 : 8054D5F0 BCP3 : B2000008
BCP4 : 06000E0F OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

Error report contents:
The following files will be included in this error report:
C:\DOCUME~1\OOIHAN~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERcefb.dir00\Mini011707-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\OOIHAN~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERcefb.dir00\sysdata.xml

I don't know what is happening, but everything is all right after I uninstalled Firefox 2. Currently I am using IE 7 to browse but I much more prefer using Firefox. I tried to reinstall Firefox today. I have installed Firefox 1.5.0.7 because I worried that Firefox 2 will cause my system to restart mysteriously. But when I use Firefox 1.5.0.7 to browse, Friendster homepage showed the same condition, i.e. a page with 'invalid user' at the top and I couldn't log in. So I quickly closed it before it does anything to my system.

I sincerely hope that members here can tell me what actually the problem is and teach me on how to solve it. I really wish that I could use Firefox to browse in future.

Thanks for replying me and I really appreciate it.
