Hey people dont know where to post it, but on new years in KL, i was robbed by a large gang of people, they were locals in Bukit bintang area. They roughed me up with weapons, macheti and steel rods, and stole my phone and camera. It was in a crowded area, near hotel istana, and the guards and cops were around, and were just watching, no one came to help. Luckily some of my uni mates were nearby and as soon as they came, the thugs ran. Anyways i am greatful i am alive, and only encountered superficial injuries on the head and hairline fracture on my rib.

Hey i wanted to confirm some information, if any of you can help me out i would really appreciate it

I wanna get a camera from ebay, its from Hong kong, the sellers shipping via fedex or DHL, will it come straight to my doorstep, or will i be charged duty / tax or any other charges? Are digital camera duty free to import? Oh and the seller said he will write value of $100 but its orignal price is $300.....

Hey all, as the topic states, i am a rookie and dont know the As and Bs of photography. All of you here know a hell lot about it, and i was wondring if you could share some of ur knowledge.

Okay my main interest to get into photography was formula 1, alongside with this i do quite abit backpacking, so need a camera that can capture clear sharp landscape modes. I wanted advice on what camera to get. I have a few choices:

1. SOny cybershot HX 1
2. Nikon D40
3. Nikon D60

Now i know the nikons are DSLR cameras but i dont know anything about lenses, shutter speeds or apeture and plus the DSLR are not portable to carry everywhere, so i was recomended the HX1. But i do not know if it will be able to produce the steady and clear formula1 shots that i am looking for. What do u guys think? Or are there any other camera recomendations?

Hey people, i just got the old xbox 360 wanted a tft lcd monitor cause lcd tv is out of my range...the old 360 doesnt have a hdmi port only an a / v port. The cable has the 6 composite output i.e 2 white and red for audio, 1 yellow for vide, red green and blue for video...wanted to ask which LCD screen will best suite the 360s resolution and display HD and have the input connectors...but the cheaper the better
