Doctor who sounded alarm on coronavirus dies

34-year-old .... another case in media where the person is not young or old

https://www.foxnews.com/health/doctor-sound...oronavirus-dies

Li Wenliang, a doctor in China who was allegedly detained for warning others about the coronavirus before he himself was sickened by the illness, has died. His death was confirmed during a World Health Organization (WHO) press briefing on Thursday.

"We're very sad to hear of the loss of Dr. Li Wenliang," WHO officials said, before adding that it was too soon to say whether the outbreak was reaching a peak.

Li, who according to the BBC was a 34-year-old ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital, had claimed that in late December he shared his concerns via private chat with medical school graduates after several patients exhibited symptoms similar to SARS before he was visited and warned by authorities.

He was then summoned to Public Security Bureau where he was forced to sign a letter stating that he made false comments about the virus, the BBC reported. Authorities later apologized.

Shortly after, he began coughing and developed a fever that landed him in the hospital for several days. On Jan. 30, he tested positive for the virus.

News of his Feb. 6 death first began circulating Thursday on social media and health blogs in China. It is not known if Li had any underlying health complications that may have impacted the severity of his illness.

CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP

The novel coronavirus has sickened more than 28,000 worldwide and resulted in at least 563 deaths. About 99 percent of cases have occurred in mainland China, although two deaths have been reported outside the country including in the Philippines and Hong Kong.

Air pollution particles found in womb

extract from article
"In each case, they found nanoparticles on the foetal side of the placenta and the number correlated with air pollution levels experienced by the mothers. There was an average of 20,000 nanoparticles per cubic millimetre in the placentas of mothers who lived near main roads. For those further away, the average was 10,000 per cubic millimetre.

They also examined placentas from miscarriages and found the particles were present even in 12-week-old foetuses. The first report of possible pollution particles in placentas was presented at a conference in September 2018, though the composition of the particles had not been confirmed.

The detection of the particles on the foetal side of the placental barrier means it was very likely the foetuses were exposed, Nawrot said. Work to analyse foetal blood for particles is now under way, as is research to see if the particles cause DNA damage.

The team also found black carbon particles in the urine of primary school children. The study, published in 2017, found an average of 10 million particles per millilitre in hundreds of nine-to-12-year-olds tested. “It shows there is translocation of particles from the lungs to all organ systems,” said Nawrot."

NEWS ARTICLE

time to start a class action lawsuit against Indon, fellow pregnant mothers

is this in local news?

Watch: Gaza Terror Rockets Explode Over Israeli Concert

https://www.breitbart.com/middle-east/2019/...sraeli-concert/

The Jewish Press reports: At least three rockets were launched from Gaza at 9 pm Sunday night in an attack on southern Israel, including one that landed in an open field in the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council district, igniting a fire.

The Iron Dome anti-missile defense system intercepted two of the rockets, directly over a concert about to be held in the southern Israeli city of Sderot, less than a mile from the Gaza border. Panicked concert goers searched for a bomb shelter (video in tweet below). “Three launches from the Gaza Strip were identified as aimed at Israeli territory,” the IDF said.

“Rocket just landed in a field in Sderot near a large concert that was about to begin,” wrote a JewishPress.com reader. “My daughter was there. Smoke everywhere. Concert canceled.”

All Outdoor Buddhist Statues Must Go

All Outdoor Buddhist Statues Must Go

Any travelers can go check insitu to see how true?

All Outdoor Buddhist Statues Must Go, No Matter the Cost

08/09/2019
Regarded by the CCP as its fiercest enemies, the statues of Buddhist deities are being demolished across China under orders from the central government.

by Ye Ling

Local authorities spare no effort to ensure the demands from the higher-ups, forbidding anyone – organization or individual – to have statues of deities displayed in the open air. Built with large sums of money, often donated by believers, religious icons are disappearing across the country, disregarding the massive funds spent and human resources used in the process.

Government spends millions to demolish a statue

Inside Qingguo Temple, located in Duqiao town, under the jurisdiction of Linhai city, in the eastern province of Zhejiang, a 15-meter-tall bronze Guanyin statue used to stand. It was built at the cost of three million RMB (about $ 450,000). Last year, its abbot received a notice from the town government, ordering the Guanyin statue to be dismantled because “religious statues cannot be located outdoors.”

A local Buddhist told Bitter Winter that to save the Guanyin statue, the temple’s abbot submitted a request to the Religious Affairs Bureau, asking to cover the icon, not destroy it, but the government turned him down.

In May, Linhai city government officials came to the village where Qingguo Temple is located for a meeting and took the final decision to tear down the Guanyin statue. A month later, the city government initiated a bidding procedure for the demolition works. A company from Luoyang city in the central province of Henan won the bid to take down the statue for 1.08 million RMB (about $ 160,000).

continued further in website...................

The website and other searches on the internet are not turning up any information. Considering how much they have collected as well as the donors of the fund, it is obvious we are completely aware of how and where is the money to. Is is going to be given to the HAMAS group? PA? UN? Some fringe aid group?A religious group?

Whoever that had donated without knowing these things are foolish.

(hey, they deleted my thread in the main page. what for? it's completely reasonable. Do i get an explanation?)
