Samsung Odyssey G7 or LG 27GN950 UltraGear?

First of all, I'm just a casual gamer, mostly play on PC lately but I do plan to get PS5 at one point (PS4 Pro is just collecting dust at the moment) and will connect the console to monitor as well. I do play competitive FPS like COD Modern Warfare & Warzone but as I said, just casually and I don't get stressed out if I'm not at the top of the table lol. Other than gaming, I do watch Netflix and do occasional coding work on desktop (though most of the time I use my Macbook for work). Currently using GeForce 2080 Super, might consider upgrading but maybe not anytime soon. Current monitor is Samsung cfg70 24" (curved).

Despite being a casual gamer, I still plan to get either one of these two high-end monitors... basically just to future-proof (don't see myself buying another monitor in the next 7 years or so). I've watched sooo many review YT vids on these monitors but still can't decide. My thoughts on them;

- I'm quite used to curved monitor by now, but to be honest, I don't care much for it. But very concerned with G7 as many reviews say the curve is a bit too much and not ideal at all for productive work
- 240Hz sounds delicious
- From what I understand, the colors and dark contrasts of this VA panel are nicer
- 1440p might be just nice for my current GPU
- I kinda like the idea of having 32" as I'm sure it'll be significantly different from my current 24" (but not sure if it's a bit much for a standard IKEA computer desk?)

- Many reviews say this is the better choice (versus G7)
- More expensive than G7, despite only having up to 144Hz and only 27"
- 4k res sounds nice but I'm aware that with my current GPU, even though very likely I can play games on 4k, I might not get above 60fps all the time (being a pc gamer.. anything below 60fps kinda defeats the purpose amirite?)
- After being influenced by many expert reviews... I'm kinda leaning more towards this one.

Money in EPF vs Unit Trusts

Let me first start by admitting that I am almost clueless about Unit Trusts. However a few years back I decided to support a friend who is a Public Mutual agent, and ever since funds have been withdrawn from my EPF to go into unit trusts that he manages. But it seems like his unit trusts have been underperforming (versus EPF's return) for the past few years since we started.

Now he's asking to withdraw even more from my EPF. Should I stop all of this and just keep the funds in EPF? Or let him continue with the unit trusts?

GeForce RTX2070 Super AORUS Issue

My 1 month+ old GPU suddenly started having issues, when booting up there's green pixels everywhere:

And when Windows is loaded, under Device Manager it says Code 43. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling drivers, reinserting GPU into the slot, updated BIOS, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Looks like this is most likely faulty piece of hardware? I read online a lot of people are having code 43 issue with NVIDIA cards. Any of you guys experienced this before?

BMW 3 Series Sports Vs. VW Passat B8

Hai. I'm buying a new car soon however I'm quite torn between these 2 options.

I like VW Passat B8's looks, interior and all the techs in it.. and I feel that it is more canggih than 3 Series. However I'm aware of the past issues from VW cars..with the DSG, and all other things breaking down even only after 3-4 months. Of course they say that with the new models they've rectified most of the issues, but since they're still very new I'm still yet to hear actual feedback from new owners (and I find it quite weird that even until now I haven't seen any Passat B8 on the road). My other worry is that it seems like VW's reputation in Malaysia is still declining.. which might force them into slashing down the prices like crazy in the near future like they did before. I mean.. If I really buy the car I wouldn't be selling it so soon (unless really got lots of issues).. but still, 7-9+ years later I might want to.

BMW 3 Series Sports Line (320d/320i) is about the same price as Passat B8 2.0, which is why I'm considering it. I've always liked BMW but never really a fan. I'm ok with the look, but somehow I feel it's not as special as Passat B8.. perhaps because there's just way too many on the road. Interior is just ok too, somewhat classic BMW's interior feel. The technology / gadgets though I feel are lacking if compared to Passat B8 2.0; Passat comes with Active Info Display and other small functions which I actually like E.g. Apple Carplay / Android Auto, etc that I don't think 3 Series offer, or perhaps I'm wrong. I haven't actually done much research on 3 series, don't really know if there are many common issues and heartaches like VW, but obviously BMW's second hand value is way better.

Any tips for selling used car directly?

Hi guys! First of all, this is not an advertisement. I'm thinking of selling my car (Honda City 2009 S Spec) myself without trading-in or going through agents, hoping to be able to earn more this way. But I have 0 experience in doing this so I'm hoping to be able to get some tips to get the best possible outcome.

What are the things that would determine its 2nd hand value?

The car is in good condition, I would say 0 accident but fact is there's a small dent at the back due to some old uncle accidentally let go of brake at red traffic light. Should I fix it first? The car is well maintained, never missed service, recently changed absorber - should I spend further to spruce up the car?

How and where should I advertise? Noticed quite a few sites like carsome.my, ezsellcar.my, etc will pretty much already give estimate of highest possible value for my car automatically... which is always lower than those in their listing, I'm guessing they mark up quite a bit?

Would very much appreciate any tips at all.
