"88-Stop Anime Pilgrimage" Japan

Japan's Anime Tourism Association have released a list of 88 places in Japan that have appeared in anime or have some kind of connection with anime that fans from around the world want to visit. They're called it an "88-Stop Anime Pilgrimage". There seems to be no ranking to the list but plenty of anime classics are present (Kimi na no Wa, Kantai Collection, Evangelion, GIRLS und PANZER ... ) with locations up and down Japan. I suppose, given the ultimate purpose of the list, there's nothing particularly risky in there but it's pretty interesting. Anything that you think is missing?

Source and list: Fans around the world choose 88 spot "anime pilgrimage", Japan
Japan's Most Unique Hotels and Their Rates

There are loads of accommodation options for Japan. If you're on a tight budget, maybe a youth hostel is the best way to go, or maybe some kind of AirBnB type of deal. Of course, there are also plenty of 5 star options, as well as the tradition ryokan (which can also be a little expensive, although not always).

If you're looking for something a bit unique though, Japan has some great options to choose from. They're not always the cheapest though, like the Godzilla Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo. You're looking at around 40,000 yen per night for the Godzilla themed room. You can find a bunch of other cool hotels and their rates here ...

Japan's Unique Hotels and How Much They Cost For A Night
