Hello,

I am having TIME 600mbps connections on my condo.

Wifi signal is Fine over the whole house with this Wi-Fi 7 Router from TIME.

My question as follows:

I need to connect 2 units of NAS on RJ45 in my study room, which does not have RJ45 connections.

And also my Mini PC .. only got a wifi 5 Connection on board ( So to say I could not get max speed on this setup of 600 Mbps. )

at the moment running on speed test, I can only get a max of about 160 Mbps over my 600 Mbps from TIME

so. If I were to add a mesh from TIME ..which I can place this mesh at my study room, to connect my 2 units of Nas, and hopefully also connect my Mini PC over RJ 45 instead of wifi 5 .

I am ok with the 399 budget,,

I just wanna be sure if this will work out for me ..

Hello ,,

I need advice on whether to add a Mesh or a USB Wi-Fi 7 adapter.

I am on TIME internet, 600Mbps was given a WIFI 7 router ONT , which is placed at the living Hall ..

My house is a condo setup with three rooms, measuring 1,118 square feet.

I had tried the WIFI 7 signal and bandwidth with my honor Magic 7 Pro. Good signal, good bandwidth,, no issue.. around the whole house .can get about 450 Mbps .. furthest to my master bedroom.

But the issue is in my study room .. which has 2 units of mini Pc . GMKtec K8 spec with wifi 6 onset.

This 2 Mini PC .. can get good signal but only getting bandwidth of about 180Mbps to 200Mbps..

on the speedtest reading.

I am looking way to improve the speed Mbps..

between these 2 choices. Which do you recommend..

Add a mesh unit by Time Internet,

or add a USB wifi 7 adapter ..on my mini PC

I am having a budget of RM 400.00.

Please advice me .. thank you so much..

The last PC I bought was way back in 2017.

Now with this budget ..tolong tolong kasi recommend satu CPU .. able to withstand the 10 years usage from from Now 2025

pakai biasa biasa .. I know that now the OS is Windows 11 Pro, so I need to run Windows 11 Pro. With ease for 5 to 8 years to come

but when it becomes miserable to some, we got to..voice it out...

I am a user of Honor Magic5 Pro since last year .. ( 2023 march )

now ngam ngam one year ...

Looking at the offer of this pre-launching Honor magic 6 pros..with much of the goodies .. to be included BUT no retails pricing is announce.

was told that it will be somewhere around 4500 to 5000.

no wonder laah .. the goodies given on pre-booking is worth 2259.00

In My opinion ... No deal ..for me ..

this morning got a call from unifi care .. with a very good offer .all

this is my story :

having this unifi fiber since Minister Gobind's era .. it was 50mbps with the turbo x10 to 500 mbps..
could not remember what was the amount paid then...

when Gobind falls ..semua offer also burned

so on 2019 . i go for the 100mbps with Tv box on Ruby..

and paying 129 + tax = 136.75 ( from 2019 till now Aug 2023 )

today ..unifi care called me ( existing user )
with ruby

giving me an offer of upgrade 149 for 300mbps .. with ruby add another 30.00 for 2 years contract

also with this promotion enjoy the speed of 500mbps for 12 months and 6 months waiver ..bill only starts after the six months

tapi kena contract 24 months ..otherwise kena penalty up front ...normal laah kena ikat 24 months..

Tapi I press a little bit further.. I say I wanted the ultimate bundle

the CS . paused a moment ..then replied me ..

yesterday afternoon .. received a call from Ninja van saying that I got one parcel pending sending from TnG digital .. and needs my complete home address ,

cut story short .. upon opening this parcel .. found a complete set of P2P seller QR code from TnG digital ...

very very confused .. I did not order this from TnG didgital .. how come I received this package .. and my adress were not complete .. refer photo ..

Is TnG have a problem with their system or is it my personal data being breached or leaked?

upon calling TnG number spoke to 2 lady staff.. on 2 separate occasions.. no one seems can point me to the correct dept or the correct person for me to check further on this issue .

Just hours ago .. received a call from 011 6372 7110

involving 3 persons (actors ) one Indian man , one Malay man , one Chinese man )

Story goes like this "

caller 1 : hello ..encik XXXXX saya panggil dari IPK .
anak u .. kita sudah tangkap sekarang ada di IPK .
anak U mau cakap sama U

( this conversation from this man sounds like LOCAL Indian ..bcos of the way he speaks )

Me : Ok

then the line was passed on to another man .

Caller 2 : Encik XXXX tunggu sebentar .. saya transfer line

( this man sounds like local Malay )

Caller 3 : ( surely is a chinese Man , bcos he speaks cantonese to me )

All the conversation with caller 3 was in cantonese . I translated into english to type it here

Ah Pa , Polis had caught me. I am now in IPK.

Me : why they caught you .

Caller 3 : I was in my friends' car .. polis blocked .. and found drugs in the car

Me : which IPK

caller 3 : IPK pudu

Me : PUDU does not have a IPK

Me : what is your full name I ask

caller : XXXXXX

Me .. what is your mykard number : ( line hanged up )

well .. that was really entertaining for about 2 mins

showing that scammers had moved to a drama action involving 3 very bad actors ..

Facts is i am staying at cheras .. and I am very familiar that PUDU does not have a IPK ..

Facts 2 : I do not have a son of that age .

Facts 3 . when i ask about his Full name (caller 3 )
he just wack me with a name

I am trying to top up my grab account with 50 ringgit over my online bank transfer .. but spotted a very strange thing on the amount of the grab apps. ( refer photo 11 )

as to why the amount shows as 50.000000. ... strange right ?????

so ..I screenshot it .. and forwarded a complaint to grab company ..

Mr Bala reply me ... but not solved ..

Then another person replied me,, this time Darwich .. refer to photo...

Still not solved .... then another person replied to me Khairul ...

All In all .. 3 persons from Grab had looked into my issue .. but none of them seems to know of the problem.

is this .. a stupidity or a hilarious act by Grab

I was thinking ... Come on Grab ... just uses your handphone to try to topup ... if the the amount also show as 50.0000000... then 100 % is Grab apps part at fault... simple as that ...

press 1 to confirm .. press 0 to speak to CS..

Knowing very well this is a scammer call bcos call center will no be using 011 number

and i got some free time to entertain this call .. so i press 0 to speak to CS

conversation as follow ..

CS : hello .. HSBC call center i am Lawrence ..( voice of a young man ) how can i help

me : yaaah I received a call saying that i got one transaction on my credit card.. and the line was passed to you..

CS : are you Mr teh XXX XXX

me : yes .

CS : Mr teh you have one transaction to day amount 4663 .. in singapore ..

Me : I am sitting at my house now in Cheras .. I am not in Singapore .

CS : is your IC number xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Me : yes Correct ..

CS : on my computer shows that you have a transaction on HSBC credit card ..

me : Hello .. Mr .. In the first place i do not have HSBC bank account . and I do not hold any HSBC credit card .. so how can you have my details on your computer.

Yes ,, yes yes ,, i was cheated by a seller on Shopee .. .. blah blah blah ...

I had learned well .. from this experience ..so .. no need to lecture me on this issue ..

but nevertheless ..just wanting to share my experiences on the issue .of how DIRTY is Shoppee using the dirtiest tactic to handle my case

on 29 march 2022 .. i start filling my report to shopee .. .. It was great that they actually reply me with official follow up email ...

saying that they are looking into my issue .... ok ok ..ok .. i am impressed and please ..

3 days gone pass . no more news .. . i called up the CS ... again was impressed .. another email , replied by another staff of shopee.

3 days gone pass .. again I called the CS .. but me was very very angry bcos .. they put me on hold .. then the line cut off ..

call CS again .. for the third time ..and repeated my story .. to another shopee CS staff.

again 3 days gone pass .. guess what ..another email received .. sender by another shoppe staff

So finally till today .. I spoke via phone to 5 different persons at shopee .. and received email from 4 different staffs of shoppe

Shopee is very very well in using this dirty Tactic of ignoring my issue , and using this delay tactic .. so that i rest the case my self

Bravo shoppee .. you win ...

Need advise on PS4 with USB storage

Please advise me what could be the problem..

my PS 4 is connected with WD my passport's external storage 1TB ...

lately .. the last 2 weeks, my PS4 is acting strange with the connected external WD passport...

I use this external storage to store games with PS plus every month ...

Now .. with my WD connected .. my ps4 Freeze ..when moving the LR button on the menu page ..

.. system shows that i need to update the system software which i did .. but PS4 still freezes..

so I reformat my WD passport ... the situation is also the same after 2 attempts to format ...

Finally I safely disconnect my WD passport ..then my PS4 acted normally ... no more freeze ..

question :

1) How to tell my WD passport is gone ..

2) When i format this wd passport with my PC ... its seems no problem .. working well ...I had tried putting about 20G of video file to this WD apssport

3) anyone one of you having this similar problem ...

4)if i go out to buy another external HDD for my PS4 .. with budget 300 Ringgit ... what is your advise brand ... ( dare not to buy WD passport , my bad expriences )
