Guys so UPU results were released today and i've seen lots of my friends got denied of their first choice and so am I!!! Instead,i got my 4th choice which is PE at UTM..

I do have a lil interest in the oil and gas exploration but im worried about the future job prospects as i've seen the recent decline in oil price and significant job layoffs among petroleum engineers...What do you think guys ?? Is it worth it to pursue this course ?

Speaking of petroleum engineering…which private university is the best ? Is it Curtin University Sarawak or UTP ? And will UTP graduates secure a job in foreign oil and gas companies such as Shell,Exxonmobil and Schlumberger or are they only recognised and employed by PETRONAS companies ? Is UTP petroleum engineering degree as recognised worldwide as Curtin University ? I’m just really curious because working offshore overseas and travelling around the world is a common thing in this engineering profession somebody who knows plz share ! Sharing is caring

Anybody here knows whats the best university out there for petroleum engineering ? UTP,UTM, Heriot-Watt, Curtin, UCSI, Utar or what ? But i do know engineering in UM isnt top notch

I'm just a lil confuse about the entry requirement of petroleum engineering in UTM! 😧 Oh yeah btw, im an ex matrik student of the 15/16 badge ....What is the minimum cgpa required to gain a spot in petroleum engineering in UTM ?? I hope someone will enlighten me regarding this ☺Well..i got 3.8 cgpa...do i stand a chance ?
