I am planning to study Computer Science and want to specialize in Software Engineering(Web development) or Data Science. I have applied for three univs: <u>Taylor&#39;s, INTI, and APU. </u>They all accepted me, but I am still waiting for Taylor&#39;s and APU transfer result. INTI transferred some of the credits, so I can finish my CS degree within 2 or 2.5 years.<br /><br />However, I have some confusion:<br /><br />1.Is Taylor&#39;s software engineering program differ from other uni like APU? I noticed that Taylor seems really want software engineer students to be a manager not just a developer. On the other hand, I am afraid that their words are only marketing.<br />2. Is 3+0 Bachelor of Computer Science, University of Wollongong, Australia program from INTI famous in Malaysia? How&#39;s facility INTI&#39;s Subang compared to APU and Taylor&#39;s in terms of opportunity? I don&#39;t mind small campus, but I am afraid that I don&#39;t have much people for networking and share knowledge since INTI subang is quite small. But the facility in INTI Subang seems pretty excellent for a small campus.<br />4. Does Data Science have a huge prospect in Malaysia within the next two years? I am considering taking Computer Science specializing in Data Analytics in APU, but I am not sure with the prospect because I want to work in Malaysia or Singapore(if possible).<br /><br /><br /><br />In case you are wondering my nationality, I am Indonesian.<br /><br />Other uni that I have considered:<br />Monash: Nope. I don&#39;t really like their program. Too much math. As much as I love math, I don&#39;t think I need math as much as Monash required in their Computer Science program. Unless they have data science program, then I will consider applying Monash.<br />Nottingham: They wanted me to return to year 1. Hell no.
