DJI MAVIC PRO

Yup.. it's finally out.. I was lurking in the forum looking for someone to post on this but seems like no one posted yet. So let's just start one. Can delete if there's one similar.

Shipment will start on 15th October 2016. Will be in stores by next month. I believe this MAVIC will be the next big thing since Phantom came out years ago.

Is there any Malaysian vlogger or youtuber that manage to get a hand on this? Could be interesting to find out how the MAVIC flies here.

Running in new batteries recommendation:

For the first 5 cycles. Fly to 40% and recharge.
For the next 5 cycles. Fly to 30% and recharge - treat this as a gentle run in period for your batteries.
After the Initial 10 cycles fly to 20% and charge.

For long term use and Maximising the life of your Mavic's batteries.

I would recommend setting low voltage alarm at 30% and always aim to land at 20%.

Avoid flying to below 10% during normal usage.

Enjoy and safe flying.

hye guys..
im moving to a new house in putrajaya around next month.
i've read through the forum but can't find any direct comparison..
i do know that it's not comparing apple to apple but i just need to know its speed and stability.

1.which have the most stable connection?
2.which have the fastest speed? at 1mb for all three, which would give full 1mb speed capability?
(i.e streamyx gives 70% best effort only..)

Some say the latest 360 update causes RRoD
We have been watching things a bit before we wanted to say anything, but it does seem that at least some Xbox 360 owners are having problems with the “HDMI Audio Fix” update that Microsoft started pushing out last week.
While we have updated at least a couple of consoles ourselves with no problem, it is starting to appear that we were very lucky that we avoided the “red ring of death” that other experienced after applying the mandatory update.
It seems that after the update was applied, some users received an E74 error, which still others received the dreaded RRoD. What is a bit more puzzling is that it seems that all console revisions appear to be effected including the latest Jasper revision of the console. It also does not seem to matter how you had been receiving audio from your Xbox previously or what kind of connection you had to the display.
Understandably many owners are more than a little upset and this is being compounded by the fact that many consoles that are older are just now no longer covered by the three year warranty extension that Microsoft instituted to deal with the RRoD issues.
While the update was welcomed by many users that were having problems with HDMI audio output, it seems that many who were having no problems at all have been effected by this update. While we have not seen an issue first hand of this update bricking a console, we certainly do think it is possible due to the volume of people that are claiming that they are having a problem after the update.
Currently Microsoft has not said anything publically or in the forums on what might have happened or what could have gone wrong to create this issue, but we suspect that they are hard at work investigating to determine of the root of the problem. We do suspect that it has to be more than bad luck that is causing the issue.
Hopefully this will be like the 2.40 Firmware update on the PS3 that can simply be fixed with another patch, but with those systems that are exhibiting the RRoD, we are not sure that another update is going to be able to be applied to solve the issue and it is likely that these systems may have to be shipped into a service center for re-flashing or repair.

hye friends.. i'm about to setup a new pc soon.. my primary setup would be on this 4 items as others i might recycle back my previous rig.

proc: amd athlon x2 6000+
mobo: ASUS M3N78-PRO or ASUS M3A78-PRO
ram: any of the 800MHz DDR2
casing: (suggest me a cheap black casing) icon_question.gif

now my main problem is to choose either one of the motherboard.
ASUS M3N78-PRO is using Hybrid SLI with on-board GeForce 8300 while
ASUS M3A78-PRO is using Hybrid Crossfire X with on-board 780G.

1 - which is better in terms of future upgrading? (either budget or performance) at this moment i do not want to buy graphic proc (gpu) just yet. however i might consider getting the gpu next year.
2 - i read in some reviews saying that not all gpu are compatible with both. i.e some might operate well with ASUS M3A78-PRO while some might do well with ASUS M3N78-PRO. comments on this?
2 - how about compatibility issue? my choice of proc suitable to this motherboard?

How to share streamyx on PC and PS3 at same time?

hye everyone.. just recently i bought a new lcd with multiple input. so now i can connect my pc and ps3 at the same time and use them simultaneously.

problem is my streamyx only detects one at a time. either only pc will be connected to internet or only ps3.
i need help in connecting both to internet at same time.

my connections via wired streamyx modem DB102 and a switch

i came accross solutions that require me to set up pc as server.
streamyx --> switch ---> pc ---> ps3

is there any way both can share the connection directly?

the card reader has linux supported icon on it's package.
after searching i found that ps3 only accept fat32. so i format my memory stick pro-duo to fat32.yet still cant solve the problem..
