Spilled Milo on my Macbook 13" Retina

So yeah, the one thing i dreaded happening, happened to me. Fucking spilled my drink on my laptop. So it works and its fine. BUT, the bottom row keys (space bar, apple key, etc) are really sticky. And the touchpad doesn't click anymore (which is fine, I have a mouse). This is very annoying as you can tell.

Can anyone recommend any service centres that provide cleaning procedures for this kinda thing?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello I'm a fairly newbie graphic designer with no educational background in design and struggling with actually making my printed works look and feel great. So I'm looking for a printing shop that can give me advice and recommendations on what type of materials and type of printing to use.

I'm eager to start recording more properly now (my setup is just a f***ing macbook and use the mic on that for recording), and am looking into getting an audio interface or something. Actually someone please enlighten me the difference between an audio interface and mixers. Which is more essential to recording? I'm also planning to get a good mic. Look it at the Shure SM-57 to record both my vocal and instrument tracks. Anyone know where I can get all these stuff?

so my sister's birthday is coming up next month, and she's been asking and pining for a polaroid camera for years and i thought of getting her one (she's kinda a vintage-lover type of hipster). so i was just wondering which places or camera shops should i start looking for first. i'd really appreciate any pointers or help anybody can supply me with. it'd really do her wonders if i can get her one.

problem restoring my ipod nano

my ipod is a little messed up since my friend forgot to disconnect it properly while i was using his laptop to charge it. so now my itunes can't read my ipod and i'm trying to restore it. the problem is, i've been trying to do that for the past hour or so, cos the network times out everytime i try to download the update software. is there a better solution for restoring my ipod?

okay... so obviously, after finishing my SPM, as you would expect, i'm lepak-ing right now, tidur, makan, main game day in day out. but each day, i get a little bit more panic inch by inch, and i'm just afraid of 'losing it' when the time comes later down the road, and i realize it's too late... ok so maybe that was a bit dramatic, but seriously i don't know what my next step is. i've been reading the FAQ for secondary school graduates thread stickied above, but i still can't exactly wrap my head around it.

well, i do know one sure thing though... the bottom line of this mess is that i want to come out as a filmmaker in the end. i want to make films for a living. hands down. but now i'm not sure where i should be looking at. hell, i don't even know the exact course that'll make me a filmmaker. should i be searching for the right college/university? should i be concerned about my financial state? should i be looking at scholarships? or should i just wait for my spm results?

there's been two sightings where ads were showing a $349.99 xbox 360. well, it's not exactly a big drop i hoped for (i thought if there ever was a price drop MS would drop it down to 300, but that's probably too far fetched), but anything to make the system cheaper is a good thing for me!

filmmaking courses

can anyone suggest me a good college/uni that has a good course in filmmaking. i really don't know the details and quality, etc of our local college/uni so i'd appreciate if you'd point me to the right direction.

anyway, today i had this thing in school where people from a number of colleges came and talk about their courses and stuff (is it called career day or something?). somehow i'm interested in cenfad, since they were the only ones that had a talk on arts & design but my parents are saying it's no good... any opinions on that? and... limkokwing is out of the picture, eventhough i'm interested in it. but that's just a matter of insufficient college funds.

just trying my luck... are there any Arcade Fire fans around here?

i LOVE them! i started listening to Funeral 2 years ago and only now i've fully realized that it's one of the best albums in, a very very long time. and Neon Bible! have you guys listened to it? it's farking awesome! takes a couple of extra listens for you to really dig it, but IMO it's safe to say that it's better than Funeral. but recently i've stopped listening cos i wanna buy the album to really sink my teeth into it. i dunno if there are lot of malaysians who like them, so far the only Arcade Fire fans i know is just me, my friend and my brother. so sad. lots more people should listen to them.

anyway, for those who are looking for neon bible, have you seen the album in record stores yet? i asked this guy at a rock corner shop in 1 utama, he just shrugged and said out of stock, without even looking at my face... retard...

so yeah come on, tell me i'm not the only one here who digs them...
