Seeking Guidance: Digital Card Solo Founder

Hey everyone,

I have recently founded a digital wedding invitation (kad kahwin digital) system. However, as a solo founder, I am facing a multitude of challenges and decisions to make on my own.

Background:
Having identified a growing trend and need for digital solutions in the wedding industry, I decided to start a system that specializes in digital wedding invitations. Developed fully using PHP, Javascript and HMTL (custom CSS). This digital invitation card, known as TuanMajlis offers new function first in Malaysia. (including Telegram Notification when receiving RSVP, Export to Excel, and much more.) and it also provides customizable, creative, and cost-effective solutions for couples looking to add a unique touch to their special day, doing it on their own! Despite the promising aspects, diving deep into market dynamics, customer acquisition, and scaling strategies as a solo founder has been overwhelming.

Challenges:

Market Strategy: While the product itself is quite relevant given the current market trends, identifying the most effective channels for marketing, audience segmentation, and competitive pricing are areas I am grappling with.

Technical Development: Balancing the technical aspects with business development is also a challenge. I am considering whether to outsource development or collaborate with a technical co-founder.

Customer Acquisition and Retention: Understanding the best practices for not just acquiring new customers but also retaining them through exceptional service and products.

Scaling the Business: Future-proofing the business by planning for scale, including potential product diversification and market expansion, is something I need to plan for from the start.

What I am seeking:

1. Advice from those who have navigated the path of setting up a business as solo founders, particularly in the digital product space. How did you manage to wear multiple hats effectively?
Insights into customer acquisition for B2C (or even B2B) digital products. Are there any effective strategies or channels that worked exceptionally well for you?

2. Recommendations for managing technical development for non-tech founders. Did you prefer to outsource, learn the skills, or bring a technical co-founder on board?

3. Any suggested resources (books, courses, communities) that are considered must-explores for solo entrepreneurs in the digital space.

4. Technical question:

-I already enable Telegram through its API for notification, now I am seeking for WhatsApp notification. Anyone know how to achieve it?

I understand that there's no one-size-fits-all answer, and the entrepreneurial journey can be wildly different for everyone. However, I believe that collective wisdom and diverse perspectives can shine a light on the less obvious pitfalls and shortcuts that aren't apparent when going at it alone.
