I am planning to use HSBC refinancing to perform full settlement for my AmBank Housing loan. Lock in period is already over. <br /><br />I checked from my Ambank online account and find out the balance for my housing loan. I used that balance as my refinancing amount. My HSBC banker advised me to apply a bit more (like 3 months extra) because she say normally bank will charge 2-3 months extra. But I dont apply more because the 2-3 months charges (if there is any) I can settle by cash. <br /><br />Just informed by my HSBC banker that my offer letter is out. Will ask her more when I meet her, but just hope to do some homework first:<br /><br />- Is it necessary for me to write a one-month notice to Ambank? Shamefully I can use computer but know almost zero about it. Sigh sigh. <br /><br /><b>Purchase plan:</b><br />- full set desktop (CPU with burner, monitor (standard size or slightly bigger is just fine), speaker)<br />- no need printer <br />- keyboard and mouse can be the cheapest type<br /><br /><b>User type: </b><br />- surf internet a lot (open many webpages and hate it when too many pictures slow down the speed. so memory (RAM?) is my main priority)<br />- always download movies overnight (which I will transfer to hard disk and watch using TV at living room)<br />- use MS word, excel, powerpoint <br />- have tendency to run multiple programs at once (which then cause lagging) <br />- occasionally watch movies <br />- may occasionally play olden day games like Civilisation, 3 Kingdoms (san guo zhi), Street Fighter (yes, old style people... I do not play DOTA or games like that)<br /><br /><b>Preference:</b><br />- high, high speed&#33;<br />- disk space (for downloading movie, but I suppose computers nowadays easily have very large disk space which does not require me to add on anymore)<br />- I don&#39;t think I need a super good graphic card.
