From Heatrow to Gatwick

I need some help here, for those who has experience travelling from Heatrow to Gatwick. My flight from KUL was scheduled to touch down at Heatrow (LHR) on 16:15 and I have the connecting flight from Gatwick (LGW) on 19:55 to Florence (FLR). Can i make it on time to catch my connecting flight in 3hrs 40minutes, considering the luggage collection time, immigration on both airport and check-in closure period before flight? And what is the fastest way to travel between this airport and what is the route to take and estimated time? The flight is on sAturday, I will travel with the light luggage and this is my first time to transit in London.
Hope to get reply from those who has previous experience or familiar with this route. Thanks a lot.

Water treatment

Hye all,

Just want to share a working life story of mine. Currently i am working as a service engineer (fresh grad) in a small company doing water treatment on factory which is most of them will be a semiconductor. More on hands-on job, technical works and i have been familiar with mechanical equipments such as vessels, pumps, valves, etc. My company gives a service and maintenance for that particular job and as a vendor to client, i am wondering that my future wont be so valuable as compared to other fields such as oil&gas, power generation, automotive, etc.

Why am i saying like that? So here are some points:

1) My company is too cowboy and got no policies at all. It hasn't stated about the wages increment, bonus andmedical insurance. Got petrol claims but not based on mileage. It depends on logical distance. Also food allowance is not stated properly.

2) Lets say those benefits are not being considered as i am still in junior level, if i stay and work for the rest of my life there (or at least 5-7 years), how much do u think my salary would be? 3K? Well, 3k is the max i could get. However, with that 5-7 years working experience i've gained, i am pretty sure that my knowledge is strong enough to form my own water treatment company like what my boss did. The problem is, my life wont be so wealthier like my other "engineering friends" during that period. And possibility for me to get sacked is quite high because there is possibility for my company to "gulung tikar" (small company maa). what a life-gamble.

3) IF i just work for 3-4 years time, can i use the experience to give a service to oil&gas company (consultant or fabricator). Or it is a useless experience in oil&gas industry. For your info, i am surrounded with pumps, vessels, valves, chemicals, instruments, pipes, elbows, tees, flanges, couplings, filters, bla3 but inside those equipments isn't a gas or oil but its water.

4) Other option is...start to finding other job.

Who can help me on this plss....
