SAM and the United States

I read the topics on applying to the US, but no one had this problem addressed.

I'm currently doing SAM, but have been looking at US universities and have become very, very interested.

The problem is, I understand that SAM is not as recognized as the A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate.

When the applications ask for "secondary school report", do I send in my SPM results? Or should I use my SAM results?

(Do people who've taken A-Levels send in their SPM transcript also? Or just the A-Levels results?)

I did pretty good in my SPM.
SAM isn't over yet but I kind of have the feeling I've been more 'average' than 'good'.

And also, the admissions officers generally want to see applicants with tougher subject choices, with a foreign language or two very much recommended.

With SAM, the only language subject I'm taking is English as a Second Language, which is nothing to shout about.

So would sending in my SPM transcript give me an advantage because I took Malay and Chinese, and also subjects like History?

I know it's best to ask the admissions office, but if anybody has any answers, I'd be very grateful.
