CIMB Loan: Biz Premise TL

My parents have a BIZ PREMISE TL with CIMB to build a shop lot in 2006/07. However, ever since our first MCO March 2020, we only able to secure the benefit of the first moratorium, the 6-months waive. After that, whenever we ask or apply for any financial aid, they give us the round around and sometimes stupid answer.

I will the the history in chronological order below so you guys can understand it better. But, numerous report had been filed and tons of phone calls had been made, but they never give any solutions.

Timeline:

2006/07: The loan was applied around this time to build a shop lot, I'm not so sure since at that time I'm still in school and didn't know much about this. The loan is under both my father's and mother's name.

2008: The shop lot was completed so the first payment began.

2016:
19 January: My father passed away

April/May/June: We began the process of estate distribution (Pembahagian Pesaka) of my late father. We ask the staff at CIMB Dungun regarding the loan account on how to proceed. They gave an answer: There is no need to do anything, once the loan is settle, everything will be settled.

2017:
January/February: The process of estate distribution of my late father was completed. For my father's CIMB account, I was the one that went in person to CIMB to close all his account.

2020:
September: We apply for the extension of moratorium/renegotiation of monthly payment just like our government announced.

October: We received a call from CIMB regarding our application. As a formality, they required to spoke with both person whose name is on the loan. That mean that they want to speak to my DEAD FATHER whose I buried 5 years ago.
Second call; the person on the other end of the line ask us to register for Bantuan Prihatin (BPR) which not opened yet at that moment
Third call; the person on the other end said to my mum, if you didn't have the money to pay, then don't make a loan with the bank

November: To settle this issue, we went to CIMB Dungun. When I close my late father's account in 2017, I gave an original copy of the letter of estate distribution to the staff including all related verified copy of documents including the Death Certificate of my father. After long talk, they still denied it was their fault and ask us to send it again along with our application for the extension of moratorium/renegotiation of monthly payment.
9 November: We submit the aforementioned letter along with the death certificate of my father. The receipt acknowledgement was signed by one of the staff. We have the original letter in our safekeeping along with her name, staff ID and date.

2021:
12 February: After a long and tedious talk with a Customer Representative from CIMB Call Center that no such letter (application for the extension of moratorium/renegotiation of monthly payment) ever arrived to them or been put in the system of CIMB.

Until today, we always get the excuses of not being able to help with application from a deceased person. I have been explaining this again and again to a lot of staff and nothing happened.
This is the 12 out of 14 years of the loan, our record in the past is not perfect, but close. Only a few instances of late payment for a week at most. If we are not desperate, we will gladly paid on time and settle everything.
I have filed numerous report but after getting a feedback that the case is still under investigations, then nothing.

I also tried to contact BNM, AKPK, PIDM, MOF, but nothing, everyone just telling us to call CIMB and discuss it with them. But they refuse to proceed with our application since they cannot get a confirmation for my father who is DEAD.

I really wish that someone somewhere who can help us through this. There is less than two years left and we really are desperate.

PS2 Games

Hi, I have a PS2 and there are some games which the DVD are damaged, before this, I usually extract the DVD (which I already owned) and then burn it back to a blank DVD. However, now my DVD burner is busted already.
Is it possible for me to put the file inside a thumb drive and run it through the USB? If yes, what are the method involved and the requirements.

Two Different CPU

Hi guys,

I am a little bit confused here regarding these two CPU for laptop. The i7-8750H and i5-9300H.

I would like to know is there any difference in term of experience and performance between these two since I am looking for a new laptop. From what I get, aside from a little base frequency, cache and max memory, the major difference would be the number of cores and threads. Would it make much difference. I am looking for laptop which will be used for gaming, most of it would be city building like Anno, Cities Skylines and Tropico

Laptop Screen Change COlour

Hi,

I own a 2012 Dell XPS L502X. When I run a game, ETS 2 on low settings, the screen will sometimes change into other colour, full solid colour (yellow, orange, green and even blue with nothing on it). It is similar to blue screen except the colour is not blue (and nothing appear on the screen) and my laptop will lag for a while. After that it will return to normal except the screen, the screen will remain the same. If I had music playing on the background or the sound from the game, it will stop for a while, exactly like a lag, but after a few seconds, the music or sound will resume without any issue.

When I played other games, this never happened. It only occurs when playing ETS 2 but there is no consistency to what cause it to happen. It first happened last week, twice, and I just thought it was one of a time error or might be playing too long. Then, it happened again yesterday. But, when I played for hours, nothing happened. When I just boot the laptop last night, and only play half an hour, suddenly it happened again and the problem persisted. I try to run diagnostics but they found nothing except with my force shut down. I've been playing this game and using the laptop for years but nothing like this ever happened. When I Google the issue, the result only show with night mode, but the night mode only block certain spectrum of light, not completely appear a solid colour onto the screen

I am using 2012 Dell XPS L502X, with Windows 10 64 bit

I own a HTC One M8 and currently the screen seem a little puffed up like something is pushing from the inside. I suspected that the battery is damaged. Is there any other possible reason that causing this and how much will it take to fix this problem?

Laptop hang when running game

I am currently using Dell XPS L502X (2011).
When I run a game, it will run properly first but then after a while it will hang, the problem keep persisted. I try updating all my driver, remove unnecessary software and my laptop had been reformat recently.
Before this, I used to run the same game but it work fine with medium setting, now I cannot even run it on low setting
when I try to run another game, it works fine.

Unlimited Broadband

I am looking for a broadband as I have to move around a lot due to my study and works. I am not looking for plans for mobile data or those like digi and umobile offers, unlimited data for mobile, but limited hotspot quota. I will use this broadband with my laptop.

Here are the criteria:

Data: unlimited, if not, those with most quota or most value per gb.
Coverage: tolerable if not so fast, as long as it is stable.
Budget: no limit so far

Formatting Laptop

Hi guys,

I have a 2012 Dell XPS L502X that needed to be reformat
I have an original Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit CD when I buy the laptop
My device details:
Proc: Intel i7-2760 QM 2.40 GHz
Ram: 8 GB
HDD: Seagate 1 TB
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT 540M

The problem is my CD drive won't detect any CD that I insert into it and I had tried to extract the ISO through another laptop and put into a USB drive to make a bootable pen drive, but when my laptop try to read from the USB, it pop a message that says "No operating system detected"

I tried with different kind of OS and USB, still the same problem appear, but when I try the USB at another machine, it runs perfectly fine.
So far, every other devices on my laptop is detected and seems to be working.

I had try reformat the laptop by removing the physical HDD and attached it to another laptop using USB adapter and re-install the windows using WinToUSB tools, the windows reinstall but it appear a few problem I never encounter before:
-it is taking a very long time to install drivers for this laptop
-almost half of the drivers that I usually install failed to be installed
-a few software and updates cannot be installed
-when installation of software or update is running, the whole laptop would freeze for a while and I cannot do anything while waiting (usually occur when installing very large game or software but usually can still browse he internet while waiting)
-failed to detect my external hard drive, only one USB stick detected. all my files are backup to MyBook external hard drive. working fine with others laptop.

Is there any other method for me to reinstall the windows on my machine or do I have to retry the method mentioned above and hope for the best.
Your help and insight is appreciated.

Asset Transfer

How do you transfer an asset from your name to company name?
Do you need a lawyer to do it or you can just go to local pejabat tanah and proceed.

Below are a few scenario which I could think of: (transfer, not involving buy and sold)

1) A land (Owned by A & B) wants to to be transfer to Company XYZ (Owner: A & B, no other owner, shareholders)

2) A land (Owned by A) wants to be transfer to Company XYZ (Owner: A & B)

3) A land (Owned by C, a family of A & B) wants to be transfer to Company XYZ (Owner: A & B)

*Consider all the asset, company and individual involved clear from bankruptcy, restriction or any legal matter which prohibited the transaction from being done.

How to proceed with each of the scenario, is it the same or different.
I found some guide on how to transfer an asset from a person to another but not sure if this also applied when involving a company.

Setting up new PC

Hi,

I would like to set up a new desktop to replace the current laptop that I used which age almost 10 years and had some issues.
This PC would serve mainly for printing and burning cd/dvd plus other use like web browsing and playing videos.
I would like to get a budget PC but still want it to be able to do the job properly for example, can read thumb drive quickly, no lagging issue during burning cd/dvd and web browsing.

So, I would like to know what are the minimum recommended hardware needed for CPU, mobo and RAM since I want to built these myself.
My budget is around 1500-2000 but it still negotiable.

Different Type of Switches

I would like to expand my network since I got students renting above my shop. I had provided access point for each house but now I am running out of ethernet port available since I also use 2 to 3 of those ports at my shop. In the future, I am planning to expand the network usage so more ports is needed.
When I read about switches, I came across a few type available, so I would like to know more in term of differences and what are the capabilities of each type.
