Any idea how good ZTE phones are?

Hi peeps! I'm actually looking for smart phone under the price category between RM 500 to RM 1000. Recently, my friends suggested me ZTE. Done some research online about this phone, looks cool especially with the latest models Blade V7 Lite and Blade V7 Max. But would like to get more feedback from experienced smart phone users like you before I decided to purchase it or other phones.
