Need opinions pls

Im planning to buy a second house. The choice is between:

A) Newly completed sub-sale house, RM500K
[Planning: Minor renovation (plaster ceiling, KC, new furniture, etc)]

B) 15-20 years old sub-sale house, RM 350-400K
[Planning: Major renovation (New piping, new wiring, plaster ceiling, KC, new furniture, etc)]

Need opinions on:
1) what will be the estimated renovation cost for both cases?

2) assuming the location are in the same area, which will be the better option?

Becoming a Computer Programmer

So, I am an Engineer and I've been in O&G industry for over 3 years.
Long story short, I feel that I'm having some difficulties and challenges to progress in the industry or as an engineer.

So, I am considering the option to change my career from an engineer to a computer programmer.
I have a background for C++ Programming (Intermediate) and VBA Excel Programming (Basic).

Need ur suggestions on:
1. What courses (long or short) that I need to attend to be a qualified computer programmer.
2. If I have to choose only 1 specific programming language to learn, what would it be.

Recruitment Company

My situation:

so a few weeks before, I applied for a position at Company A independently, without going through any recruitment agency.

a few days after that, Company A called me for an interview for the position and I went there to attend it.

recently, I received a call from Company B (a recruiting company) said that they are a recruitment company and Company A is their client.

they told me that I was hired for the position at Company A BUT I will be hired under Company B.

Question: Can Company B hire me to work for Company A because I did not go through them when I applied for the position?
