Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with Phiten's products?

My wife bought me a necklace and some inner shirt as a present recently and I was doing some Googling to check what these products are for.

Admittedly, seems there's no mention of direct selling nor scam so all I read was that it's benefits are either there or just a placebo effect.

That necklace is said to improve sleep as well as reduce/eliminate things like neck aches and headaches etc.

I am still reserving judgement though on the effectiveness of the Raku inner shirt.

Not sure if it's a sign or coincidence as I have just experienced a sharp pain on my lower back right before receiving those gifts; without my wife knowing about my predicament though

So, long story short, any feedback on these Phiten products?

Cordless Vacuum Suggestions

Hi sifus,

Just wanted to ask around whether anyone has any recommendations for a decent and long-lasting cordless vacuum cleaner?

I have owned 2 Midea corded stick vacuums in the past 3 years [cheap too at Aeon for sub RM120] - the 2nd unit which I just bought sometime last year to replace the first one since 2017.

However, since last weekend I noticed my current stick vacuum has started to act up and turns off suddenly. Seems like loose cabling issue cos when I try to adjust a bit, the vacuum works fine again for a few minutes.

I vacuum fairly regularly, like 2 - 3 times a week mainly in the living room, dining areas and kitchen especially when I see hair on the floor which is my pet peeve.

Reason why I am planning to go cordless is due to the convenience and also planning to use it to vacuum my car carpets in the porch area.

I have done some googling and shortlisted these few but the price range is quite big and I don't want to end up investing in something too cheap/expensive and end up doesn't last either.

- Dyson Cyclone V10 - RM2,699

- Karcher VC4 - RM 499
- Dibea D18 - RM417

Any other brands that are in use which are quite reliable?

Budget wise, I think I can stretch till RM1.5K...

Was scouring Mudah Listings randomly - usually I use these few keywords such as Jaguar/XJR/E32/E38/Stepwagon/etc and the cars that appear are usually just for me to look see and take note of pricing...

Then allofasudden, E32 has just one listing... And it's a freaking unicorn!

Best Places to buy Running Shoes

Hi health/fitness sifus,

Currently on the lookout for some decent running shoes on a budget, probably < RM200-RM250. Prefer to visit physical stores as need to try the sizes out instead of online.

Not really an avid runner as might just use it as a daily casual shoe. Current shoe is Skechers Elite Flex adnd they're quite comfortable especially with the memory foam.

So far I've been to several outlets such as OC [Original Classic]/ Skechers/Al Ikhsan & RSH just to survey. No particular brands springs to mind although been checking out some reviews on budget shoes.

Any Feedback for W247 MB B Class

Hi sifus,

Just wanted to ask around whether anyone had test drove or have any comments about the Mercedes Benz B Class? Wasn't really aware of this particular 2019 model until I came across it at the C&C showroom last weekend. Pricing wise - about RM239K OTR.

MB B Class

Car doesn't qualify for their Agility financing either but my wife was quite impressed with the car, although later on upon some googling and checking on PT's website, MBM only brought in one spec which is the B200 Progressive Line, with the 1.33L Turbo engine.

Anyhow, as it will be mainly used by the missus, performance and driving pleasure is pretty much a non-consideration for her as she just needs a decent and comfortable ride.

From what I've watched on PT's Youtube as well, currently the car doesn't have the 'Mercedes Me' setup too [maybe later 2020]?

My wife isn't too keen on BMWs as I noticed the X1 currently has some attractive deals and its list price of <RM220K makes it an even more attractive proposition. We were keen on pre-facelift GLC as the new one is priced at RM293K which is quite pricey for our budget.

Although we're not urgently looking for a new ride, it's nice to start KIV some potential cars in 2020.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to reach out and check whether any of the forummers here remember Contilovers.com?

I used to be an active participant on their forums when I was just starting out as a fresh grad and I just realised that PT had featured an article on them way back in 2009.

So fast 10 years had lapsed.

I did attend a couple of their TTs as well back at Taman Megah and met some wonderful and like-minded souls - car lovers from all races and creeds and just gathered to TCSS...

I can still remember one forumer owning a nice Fiat X1/9 and another, he owned a very nice modded Fiat Coupe...

Too bad the forum is no longer accessible & many have subsequently went their separate ways into other forums such as BMWCM etc.

Just a wistful walk down memory lane...

And I'm sure there are many more Contilovers now!

Just wanted to ask around for any other recommendations to purchase car care products off the shelves [preferably] instead of trawling the internet.

So far the places I've went, some have already closed down:-

Eneos 1U and Kepong.

Asides from Ace Hardware and Autobacs Klang Sentral, are there any other places you'd recommend around Klang Valley area?

I've also checked out Brothers in Kelana Jaya many years ago but not so keen on their offerings.

Hey guys,

New to LYN - been using it whenever Google results lead me to a thread here though.

Apologies if this is not the right thread to post, but I've been looking for car decals/windscreen decals to purchase.

So far I've listed down a couple of outlets where I have gone to satiate my decal fix:-

1. Best Feel [Sunway]

2. Car Accessories Outlet - Sg Wang Plaza, 2nd Floor

3. Everplot Stickers in Mahkota Mall, Melaka

5. Uptown Shah Alam [Seksyen 24] - found 2 stalls selling decals

Used to frequent those small traders in supermarkets like Carrefour Seremban or Giant Senawang but most of them have already closed down.

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations as to where I can get decent car decals?
