Tires Bald around 10k mileage

Dear Sifus,

Need your insight on this matter.
Just recently placed a booking for a pre-owned A200, the car arrived yesterday at Hap Seng.
However, I noticed something really strange that the front tires are bald only with mileage around 10k km, of course Hap Seng decides to change the front tires. Pretty weird that the tires are bald only such little mileage.
Therefore, dear sifus wanna check whether what sort of reason that the tires are bald this quickly or things that i should look into it.
My hunch is where the previous owner really tekan the car with sports mode, any others ideas? thanks.

Weird test results...

Hi all,

Would like to seek your insights on a very weird situation here.

1. A friend of mine a week ago did a pcr test and it was negative.
2. In a span of few hours, the friend took another pcr test and tested positive with CT value 33.xx%.
The reason of second test is because of travel requirements
3. So went into quarantine, and recently quarantine ended, did a 3rd pcr test.
4. 3rd pcr test shows negative.

One of my mutual doctor friend was also puzzled with the diagnosis as covid positive will stay positive after PCR test for weeks.
Just want to ask what are the possibility that the lab has mixed up the samples?

Hey guys, posted in serious /k and would think that this section would be better to ask for help for my situation,

A few hours ago a motorcycle banged the left side of my car, and the moment I stepped out of the car, that rider accused me of banging him and proceed to accused me that the damage wasn't caused by him. The damage is not significant, it's only my side fender went in and my side mirror is cacat and has a big scratch on it. In the end, I said to settle at a police station and he said yes and ran away instead. I would be making a police report tomorrow to protect myself against irresponsible road users like this.

However, I have contacted my insurance agent and she told me that if third party claim, I can only claim damages above 400 and I have to bear the cost for 400 and the excess will be paid by the insurance company. Is it true? If that is the case, if motorcycles keep banging into cars with damages less than 400 they are basically don't hold any responsibility in the damages, that does not make any sense at all.

The question is am I able to somehow claim his insurance or somehow get compensation from him from damaging my car and if any /k users are around the Sentul area, please do share a video or picture of the situation to me as I would like to make a report tomorrow.

Need help regarding on uni

Hey guys, currently I'm a diploma student in sunway university and I'm going to graduate in another few months and advance to degree year 2. At the right time when I'm going to graduate sunway has changed its policy without telling the students about it and we have to find out everything by ourselves.
The things that they have changed are increase the average marks to enter degree and the one that makes me angry is this, sunway decided to change its programming language from java to C and currently I've been studying java for the whole term in diploma, sunway wants us to study C back in degree year 1 or maybe retake the programming subject that we studied in diploma. Usually in all unis, diploma allows advancement to year 2 degree but sunway decided to pull this trick on us and moreover they increase the tuition fees for degree. Before when I enter diploma I enquire the course that I wanted in sunway, the counselor said everything can, but now everything changed. So guys I need your advice here, can sunway just simply change their policy whenever they want but when they want us students to spend money they say will everything's okay.

Hey guys not sure whether I posted on the right section,

Need to lc on this shop cause recently my phone's been acting weirdly and needed to buy a new battery to solve the problem. Just called the shop and asked for stock and price, the person on the line quoted me the battery was 89 bucks ( just the battery itself) and installing the battery is 120 bucks ( 120 battery + install ). After that, I told them I came across the ad they posted and told them the was listed was 48.95 and they suddenly told me the price of the battery reduced to 51 including gst and install + battery was 100. So I asked them what was the 89 bucks and they said the price reduced and the price yesterday was 89 bucks, this sounds way too dodgy.

Becareful when parking in lrt wangsa maju

Parked beside lrt station and went back to get my car. Turns out the battery was stolen. What a day for me. There was a car parked two cars away from me there's two car mechanics and i think the owner is there wearing office clothes inda went off after I opened my bonnet and started inspecting the car. I think his car battery got stolen too. There was a sign that said that the area was monitored by CCTV but I couldn't find one.

Hey guys, currently having a dilemma on choosing among these laptops.
1. Dell 7559 - Intel core i5 3.3k
2. MSI GL62 - 3.2k
3. Lenovo y50 (not y700) - 3.1 - 3.3k
4. Lenovo IP700-ISK 3.2k
MSI and lenovo both have a core i7 but MSI has the skylake while lenovo still uses the previous i7 and dell has i5. Is there a big difference between i5-6300hq and i7-6700hq?
Currently eyeing for dell as it fits my budget and has a gtx 960m. Is there any laptop that is better than dell and is in the similar price range?

Dilemma of choosing enterprise information systems

Hi guys,

Currently having a dilemma here whether to choose entetprise information systems as my major or business studies ( marketing related course )went tarc and sunway to ask for advice and couldn't get a complete answer. I'm bad in maths and previously studied cs and I totally cannot handle the study environment and the maths. Since I'm bad in maths, the lecturers adviced not to take cs and adviced me to take information systems as it's only basic fundamental mathematics and way easier than cs.

1. What's the demand enterprise information systems majors in the market?

2. Compared to cs and enterprise information systems which is better in terms of career path?

3. I'm more to pr, socializing, brainstorming (something more to management and marketing related stuffs) will EIS suit me?

4. With EIS degree, i can work in business departments as such marketing/ product related?

5. Which is better tarc or sunway in terms of cert in market and for further studies?

Hey guys I have a Lenovo y40-80 here which the gpu underthrottles every single time when gaming to 300mhz at around 70c - 90c. Is this consider as overheating? Its annoying when I'm using a cooling fan and another standing fan pointing directly onto it.

UPDATE 1: Called Lenovo this morning and didn't get a complete answer. They said they'll transfer my case to the management and will look more into it to determine the solution.
