Hi,

I'm having an issue with my TL-SG108E where with the following configuration, I can't seem to get vlan 52 to work on selected port (Untagged) no IP from DHCP, the tagged port is the uplink(from asus router)

I've set up vlan tagging in asus guest network pro, connecting a laptop directly to the router with the vlan 52 tagged on the ethernet adapter works

Hi, I'm currently having an issue with my ping spiking while gaming (Valorant) and connected over Wifi to the AX92U node, when using ethernet(connected to AX92U), my phone hotspot, my friend house WiFi, don’t have the ping spiking issue

Laptop Wifi card is Intel® Killer™ Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i

I'm connected to the node Asus RT-AX92U over Wifi while gaming, ethernet backhaul from the main router Asus Zenwifi XT8.

My AX92U node had a history of suddenly WIFI stop working( and settings getting corrupted) , a hard factory reset then it occurs again

Seagate HDD failed simple overwrite test(seatool)

Hi, so I'm having this HDD from seagate where it would fail the simple overwrite test in seatool

Previously, the HDD have some Current pending sector count and uncorrectable sector count but those went away when I use the fix all function in seatool

Does this mean that I can send the HDD in for RMA, the HDD is still within warranty period?

Hi, does anyone here knows which shop in jalan pasar can I take the celling fan motherboard for repair?

looking to repair my celling fan board, seems like there’s a blown capacitor as shown in the picture below

Celling fan model is KDK KY14R, the issue is sometimes can on, sometimes cannot on, sometimes need to on switch and then wait 5 minutes then only use the remote to on the fan(not equiped with default speed)

Hi, I’m having issue with my Dahua IMOU Ranger 2 IP cameras where during thunderstorms, the camera would send a “device offline” notification and upon checking the recording, there’s some flicker in the recording. I’ve plugged the cameras into a surge protector but the issue still persists. Looking for advice on how to resolve this issue

How to determine if a router is failing?

How do I determine if my RT-AC68u is failing and should be replaced?

Making any changes to the wifi settings( main, guest network) would cause the router to reboot/crash. Sometimes it would reboot/crash right after the applying setting go to 100% sometimes it would do it later randomly(e.g.5mins, 20mins later)

Current troubleshooting that I have done so far
1. Update the router firmware to the latest firmware
2. Perform a hard factory reset on the router and manually set up the router again

Hi, I’m currently looking for a network switch for my TV cabinet where there would be smart TV, ultra box and other entertainment related devices plugged in to it. Is there any recommended network switch that would be suitable for these applications?

Currently using mercusys MS108G but for some reason I get pixelation when I playback VOD contents, when plugged in directly to the router, the pixelation goes away

Hi,

I'm facing an issue where the "IPC offline"(IP camera offline) shows up in the NVR log

Occationally I would notice some delay on some of the camera when viewing live feed in the mobile app

The IP cameras were connected to the NVR built in wifi

IP camera model: Imou Ranger 2
NVR: IMOU Wireless recorder (NVR1104HS-W-S2)

Hi, recently installed maxis fiber on 30/4/2022(using TM infra), it was working fine till today afternoon where the modem shows red los blinking

Already lodged a case to Maxis, currently waiting for TM to provide appointment slot

Something that I did noticed during installation however were TM installer were contacting someone to ask about fiber ports

Not sure if I should escalate this issue to MCMC(under TM or maxis)? I've read numorous post about it.

Slow openvpn performance

Hi, I'm getting slower than 30mbps on speedtest over openVPN. I'm not sure if this is normal or is this a bottleneck of the Asus AC68U which is running the openVPN sever

Maxis fiber 30mbps

Client side
Unifi 300mbps

Tried a few different clients, including iPhone 12 and got similliar results(including using mobile data - Digi)

Hi, I'm having an issue with my laptop even after reinstalling windows 10 where it would give me the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR, the issue persist even after reinstalling windows 10 from usb, system info as below
