Dell xps 15 vs huawei matebook x pro

Hi everyone, ive been a macbook user for quite a long time and i finally feel its time to be out of the apple bubble.
Im deciding to get a windows laptop and i finalized my choice between these two models:

1. Dell xps 15 , i7 8750h 12gb ram gtx 1050ti 256gb ssd 1080p screen
2. Huawei Matebook Pro X , i5 8250u ,mx150 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, 3k screen

I found two deals for both models, the xps being rm500 more than the matebook, so is the xps worth forking out more cash or should i just get the matebook? In terms of what i need in a laptop, i need good cpu performance for my workload(music production mainly), i do a bit of video editing but only some basic work , a bit of gaming, and programming.

Did anyone else come across the same issue with the xps? Was really looking forward to get it but it would be a dealbreaker since i am getting one online and wouldnt be able to test it out first
