Hey guys, I always wanted to make my own RC cars.
I have experienced assembling 4wd Tamiya cars

I do not come from an engineering background and do not know any programming, if the process require some kind of understanding of the "datasheet", I may need some guidance.

Anyhow, I am looking towards creating a "Tamiya 4WD like" RC car. What I do know is I need some kind of encoder and decoder and maybe some soldering kit to make a RC car.

Can anyone with experience here link and share me to the parts and guidance needed to make a RC car?

Deaf People Donation scam?

Hey guys, so recently I was at ss15 McDonald drive thru with my group of friends. Then, all of a sudden, a young white girl. Yes, a white girl, dropped some doraemon key chain and another key chain on our table with a note, stating that, for RM 12, you donate to the deaf people( orang pekak). It's also written In bahasa Malaysia.

This wasn't my first time seeing it. I am certain I have seen the very same card before attached with some Malaysia flag logo. I think it was at face 2 face, Taylor's lakeside. But that time it was a young gentleman giving out the stuff. They placed the items on your table, and walked around placing more at other people's table, then after a few minutes, they will collect back and see if anyone would like to 'donate'.

I am not sure if its a legit thing to do. My friend gave some money, and the white girl at MCD, returned with a smile and the key chains.
I have nothing against deaf people, but I am just wondering if the procedure is a form of trafficking? Perhaps, they are really deaf people selling, but being used for a wrong cause by a bigger organization? Maybe some shaddy organized criminal?
I mean, why is a white girl selling this kind of stuff for a Malaysian pekak community? I need clarification before I can give my money. Well, for one, they don't have a voice to voice out their problems too..literally..

Anyone with this kind of experience? And also, why they only target college/university crowded places??
