I make over £20k a month selling nudes online

"My biggest fear is going back into an office and being normal again."

Almost two years ago, Lauren quit her office job to work full time on her OnlyFans profile – posting semi-nude and nude images on the subscriber-based social network. She says it's been exponentially more lucrative than any ”normal” job.

OnlyFans describes itself as a social network, where anyone who creates content can set a monthly subscription fee for their followers. It isn't aimed primarily at people who sell nudes or explicit content – but a large amount of users are doing exactly that.

"I used to make £20,000 a year, and now I make a lot more than that every single month," Lauren says coyly, scrolling on her phone through the page on OnlyFans that shows how much money she's earning.

A new BBC Three documentary, Nudes4Sale, meets Lauren, 23, and others like her, who say their income from sharing adult content on the site far surpasses what they could earn in regular employment. But there's a dark side: the documentary found evidence of the age verification process being circumvented, meaning under-18s were able to illegally sell explicit content of themselves on the site.

full story at:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/article/5e7d...e4-6a7a2783ce30

My friend's ex-bf very bad. After sleep with her, go and dump her the next day

Of course she is very hurt and mad now. So she harass her ex at his office. Keep calling until the company very frustrated, and the boss ask the ex-bf not to come to work until he resolves his personal issue.

This did not stop her. She's very persistent and will keep harassing the place he works until he gets fired. After that, she plans to track him to his next workplace as well.

This should be a lesson to guys if you do bad things.

Is getting retrenched a shameful thing?

people get retrenched for a lot of reasons. usually main cause is company not doing well financially

however, criteria on choosing who get retrenched differs very much

it can be:
1. last in, first out (most junior)
2. first in, first out (most senior)
3. whole department
4. whole location/branch
5. most expensive
6. least important

Is it shameful to say one has got retrenched? If you have got retrenched before, would you people you have got retrenched and update your linkedin, facebook status indicating so and are therefore actively looking for a new role?

Police were inundated with Lord of the Rings jokes after posting an appeal looking for the owner of a "precious" piece of jewellery.

North Yorkshire Police seemed unaware of the JRR Tolkien connection when they shared photos of the "distinctive silver ring" on Facebook.

Thousands of people soon responded with gifs and memes referencing the famous fantasy novel and film series.

The force replied: "We obviously need to brush up on our movie knowledge."

The ring, which features the Elven lettering seen in Peter Jackson's film trilogy, was found with property stolen from a house in York, last February.

Police shared a series of pictures on Facebook in the hope that someone would recognise the markings

Facebook users responded telling police they needed to follow in the footsteps of Frodo Baggins and destroy the ring.

"The ring was made in the fires of Mount Doom, only there can it be unmade," one Facebook user said.

"The ring must be taken deep into Mordor and cast back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. One of you must do this."

The force was also advised against getting too involved with the "precious" ring which "has a will of its own".

"It has been lost before and the last time, it turned into a continent spanning ball ache," one poster joked.

The post was shared 20,000 times and received 16,000 comments including the obligatory "one does not simply walk into Mordor" memes.

"We've had a lot of laughs thanks to our quick-witted Facebook followers," a (North York)Shire Police spokeswoman said.

"But on a serious note, we would really like to reunite the ring with its rightful owner and hope the exposure the post has received will help us do this."

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-...kshire-51311739

HIV-positive sperm bank opens in New Zealand

The world's first sperm bank for HIV-positive donors has launched in New Zealand, aiming to fight stigma surrounding the illness.

Three HIV-positive men have already signed up to donate - all of whom have an undetectable viral load.

This means virus levels in their blood are so low that HIV cannot be transmitted through sex or childbirth.

Sperm Positive was launched by three charities ahead of World Aids Day on 1 December.

Body Positive, the New Zealand Aids Foundation and Positive Women Inc hope the project will educate the public about transmission of HIV, and reduce stigma for those who have the illness.

The sperm bank says it will make clear that all donors are HIV positive but on successful treatment that prevents them passing on the virus.

While it does not itself operate as a fertility clinic, Sperm Positive will put people in touch with local fertility clinics if they agree to a match.

One of the three donors, Damien Rule-Neal, told Radio New Zealand that after he revealed his illness to his employer, he was bullied and eventually decided to leave his job.

"We've got the science behind it to say that medication makes you untransmittable," he said. "I've seen a lot of my female friends that have HIV go on to have children, it shows that science and medication have given us that ability back."

Diagnosed in 1999, Mr Rule-Neal is healthy and married, with two children and three grandchildren.

There have been a number of advances in HIV treatment in recent years, including a world-first kidney transplant from one HIV-positive patient to another in March.

Antiretroviral therapy - a daily combination of drugs that prevents HIV from replicating in the body - can lower the amount of the virus in the blood to undetectable levels.

But HIV continues to be one of the world's most serious public health challenges. Approximately 38 million people had HIV/AIDS in 2018.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-50571017

2 men jailed over rape of woman

Two Italian men have been jailed for seven-and-a-half years for raping a woman in a Soho nightclub in an attack so brutal she needed surgery.

Ferdinando Orlando, 25, and Lorenzo Costanzo, 26, targeted the woman at a club in Argyll Street in the early hours of 26 February 2017.

They claimed the sex was consensual and were seen high-fining each other after the attack, but were convicted in October of four counts of rape.

The pair met the 23-year-old on the dance floor of the Toy Room club at around 2am and they both began to kiss her, the trial at Isleworth Crown Court heard.

CCTV showed the victim was visibly drunk as she was passed between the two men - who took turns to kiss her

Eight minutes after meeting, they had to prop her up as they took her to a maintenance room where they broke a lock to get in and raped her.

They emerged about 16 minutes later and rearranged her clothing before supporting her to the female toilets where they left her.

Footage showed the pair running up the stairs of the London club and high-fiving each other, before watching video of the attack on a phone and showing it to someone else.

The victim was discovered in the toilets an hour later and was helped home by a French couple.

Her housemate found her to be in such severe pain that an ambulance and police were called and she was taken to hospital for surgery.

The men evaded justice for more than a year after returning to their home country, but were caught when Orlando came to the UK in March 2018 to watch his team play Arsenal.

He was arrested at Heathrow airport, taken into custody and charged with rape the following day.

Costanzo contacted police after Orlando's arrest and arranged to return to the UK, where he was also detained and charged.

In an impact statement, the victim said she remembered feeling in "incredible pain" and was left barely able to walk.

The rape has left her in "constant fear" and unable to relax or enjoy drinking with friends when she goes out.

The victim, who could not remember the attack, added: "When I found out more than one man was involved I felt violently ill with the thought that two men did something this horrible... to me."

After discovering her attackers had filmed the rape, she said she felt "so angry" it "made me want to vomit".

She added: "I truly struggle with how two humans could behave like such animals to another person and think of that as funny and like a badge of honour.

"I did not consent to having sex with either or both of these people that night or at any other time."

https://news.sky.com/story/soho-nightclub-r...attack-11867012

Wearing "loud" heels in office

Everytime I walk walk around office, my new pair of shoes is making a loud "tak" "tak" "tak" sound

One colleague said I am annoying and ask me not to use those shoes. But I like the sound, makes a small size person like me feel more confident

Does it really bother people that much if you got colleague walking around with loud heels?

Primark guard guilty of raping teenage girl

A Primark security guard has been found guilty of rape after he sexually exploited teenage girls he accused of shoplifting.

Zia Uddin, 27, assaulted four 15-year-old girls while working in the Kingston store in 2017.

He threatened the teenagers with calling the police and their parents if they did not perform sexual acts on him in the control room of the store.

Uddin was also found guilty of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Kingston Crown Court heard how his colleagues had noticed his strange behaviour, which included making requests to delete CCTV, and not properly completing paperwork on shoplifting.

He was also known to keep condoms in the control room.

Once detained, some victims offered to pay for the items they had stolen, suggested they could work in the store to make amends, or even never enter the shop again.

However, once alone in the back office, Uddin made clear he was only interested in sexual acts in exchange for letting them go.

'Abused authority'
The court heard one girl only did as he asked because "there was no other choice" and it was the only way out of the situation.

Graham Partridge, of the Crown Prosecution Service, said Uddin "preyed on young girls in a vulnerable situation".

"He abused his authority by telling them to perform sexual acts for him on the promise they would then be released without their parents or the police being informed about what they had done.

"Having worked in security, Uddin was also well aware of the CCTV camera 'blind spots' and took advantage of these in order to carry out his offending."

'Horrendous ordeal'
He added that Uddin claimed all the victims were liars and refused to take responsibility for his actions.

He will be sentenced next Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for Primark said: "This has been a horrendous ordeal for the victims and their families and we are truly sorry for what they have suffered. Our thoughts are very much with them.

"The nature of these offences is shocking and distressing.

"Zia Uddin abused the trust that was placed in him by his employer, Brooknight Security, and by us, by taking advantage of his victims, who were young and vulnerable."

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-50390425

Ideas to stop climate change

Let's face it, travelling 2 weeks on a yacht isn't going to achieve anything. I would think the best way is to make Sahara green. Abundance of waste land, not doing anything. Setup wind/solar farms will help increase rainfall and generate energy and increase vegetation.

https://www.newsweek.com/sahara-desert-gree...ar-farm-1113453

Friend regret playing hard to get

My friend (female) kind of like a guy

The guy also like her, but she don't want to make it so easy for the guy

So she give him mixed signals, sometimes interested, sometimes not as she wanted him to put in more effort to woo her.

However, she overdid it and the guy decided not to pursue her anymore, and she didn't want to appear desperate

Now she's sad and alone and complain to me that guys these days don't bother to put in effort go get a girl anymore. Not sure how I should reply her, as I agree with her to a certain extent, but also disagree that she give this guy a hard time as well
