CentOS 7 browsing problem

good morning

i have a headless pc running as server on LAN.
my internet is rated 100mbps, though speedtest usually 80mbps.
it's connected to a LAN through an unmanaged switch.
there are other windows PC on the LAN.

my centos pc can ping google.com below 50ms.
but when i wget google.com, it would be slow. sometime fast, sometime slow, intermittently.
i installed proxy on it, but it's slow when browsing internet.
but when it got connected, it would be blazing fast.

windows PC can access internet at high speed. so it's definitely not ISP problem.
intranet LAN can access the centos fast, so it's not switch or lan port or cable problem.

i have disabled firewalld and NetworkManager. still no luck.

haven't tried installing bind yet.

anyone have any idea?

tldr : centos got problem browsing internet. not isp problem, not hardware problem. can resolve dns fast but very slow when browsing.

help. how do i stop these sms service from celcom.
i never sub for these services. yet they auto subscribe me. tried send stop all but seemslike the service no response at all.
today, receive so many that my prepaid credit balance is RM0.

no is 39267, 39249, 39243. celcom even charge rm0.50 if call their CS. bull shit

i need some help. can someone explain why query 1 would return result but query 2 return 0 rows?
aren't they supposed to be the same? or am i wrong? thanks.

i've been using xiaomi MI2S for the past 3+ years. recently the battery broke down and i borrow my fren cheap lenovo A526 phone.

i just realised the MI2S reception is very very very poor compared to the cheap lenovo.

now that redmi note 3 is out, i'm eyeing to get 1. but i'm afraid it's still plagued by the same problem.

what u guys say? gib me best phone below RM1K.

Excel macro coding as in spoiler. It's working as intended. My only problem is, I'm trying to display the filtered result starting from row 8 the data are sorted below the header. Sort of like freeze panel. However the autofilter function also filter the header. I've also tried to filter using range starting from (A8:A60000) to no avail.

Can anyone guide me on how to preserve the header?

edit: nvm got it. have to select the Data range 1st only then it works as it is.

please recommend me a good cheap wireless router.

i am on 1Mbps streamyx line.
around 3-6 devices connected at one time.
max range would probably be 10m in a double-storey house.
need at least 1 LAN port.
rarely do data transfer between devices, only connection sharing.

budget : if possible less than RM100.

also, is a nano wifi dongle like this any good? i see mixed review on newegg.

had a look at logitech but a lot of complaint about stuttering. same thing about their wireless gamepad too =(
then loook through a4tech catalog but can't seem to find anyone selling in garage sale =(

no moneh to buy top peripheral. can only buy budget device. can give me some recommendation?

a normal 3 button mouse and your average keyboard works fine with me. don't need those fancy2 bling2

Celcom network problem

i wanted to ask some opinion/experience from other customers.

i've been using Celcom since 2001 (TmTouch back then). i've experienced a lot of trouble from their services recently.

when ppl call me, they hardly conenct, and will be redirected to my voice mail directly. and i'll receive notification sms for missed call shortly, or long after the call, randomly. also when i try to call other ppl, it's very hard to connect. sometimes after 2 minutes of dialing, still no response from the network. sometimes direct to voice mail even if the phone is not in use (tested). usually have to dial 2~3 times only can get connected.

sms also always delayed. for example, just now my friend ask go dinerr 17:30. sms received just now

what's wrong with celcom? been like this for months now. is there a known solution for this, or celcom just simply suck ball right now?

note: the phone has full bar for both GSM signal and 3G signal. both are problematic

does size matter?

i) 7200rpm 3.5" hdisk
ii) 7200rpm 2.5" hdisk

???

i know there's a noticeable performance between 5400 and 7200 rpm, but what if both are 7200?

my father got old saga, the green one. mid 90's car i think. engine is good. only that it has no radio and window.

when i drive the car 80kmph++, the stereng and car feel like shaking. the car never involve in heavy accident before. only scratch here and there.

my old kriss II also shake around 80kmph but stablize again once i hit higher speed. i thought the car got the same problem, but i no dare to try drive it faster. though my old bike only shake the handle. this time feel like the whole card body is shaking.

why is it like that? is it tyre problem? or because the body is old it's going to break apart

can it be fixed? what you guys think? haven't check the balance and alignment yet, will go later when i have the ~~money~~ time.

toyota rush battery

as per topic, my mother rush battery is weak. i borrow it to go outstation. the car is i think almost 2 yrs old. now battery weak, cannot start. tomorrow morning only got friends who can jumpstart or pushstart.

dunno can jumpstart or not, but i guess i need to change the battery? or is there any other way? like recharge or something?

anyway, just in case i need to replace the battery. i read on the net how to replace the battery.

-disconect negative
-disconect positive
-replace batery
-conect positive
-conect negative
-????
-profit

so, any advice or specific i need to know about the car? i think
dunno any mechanic in this area, but got car hardware shop nearby where i park the car.

wireless mouse vs wifi

i recently bought a wireless mouse. the desktop use a wireless usb dongle. while i wasn't home, the router breakdown and tmnet replaced with inacom wireless router. since then, the pc keep dropping packet. sometimes when the desktop cannot connect, my sister's laptop connect w/o problem. so i think it's my desktop problem.

the mouse uses 2.4Ghz freq, wifi also uses ~2.4Ghz right? do they interfere with each other? because sometimes when i play game, the mouse will stuck. when play left4dead with my niece, connection always drop too. is it a problem with the frequency? or router sucks?

the mouse is rapoo 1100x(dunno ori or not, RM40 but looks nice), wifi dongle is tp-link wn422g.

also, which brand got nice wireless keyboard and ~~joypad~~gamepad copntroller? cheap cheap one~ want to conenct the laptop with my new 40" lcd
