Hey, basically need to buy a laptop buy next week and would mainly be used for gaming and movies...

Did survey lowyat today and there was this pakistani guy at one of the shops...quoted me this..

intel i5 2.20ghz
320 gb hdd
ati 5770
4 gb ram ddr3

all for 3k... any chance that's even remotely legit as i think it's prolly second hand or a con job...

I had purchased a canon A570is powershot from him about six months ago.

Told me he lost the warranty card.... Went to the canon customer centre a couple weeks back...

They told me it's a stolen item...

What do I do?

Hey...

I purchased a Canon A570 about six months ago from a guy from sabah for 550.

He said it was under warranty and that the warranty card was thrown away by his maid.

6 months later, the battery compartment malfunction which forces me to send it to the canon service centre.

They say its a stolen unit from their factory and that the repairs will cost 300 bucks.

I'm about to lodge a police report as I have the person bank account number and his name...

Any idea what I should do?

I'd need to rent a car for a day that is on the 8th-9th of January 08.

Hope to get it lesser than 100 bucks. Pretty much need to move between two places that's all.

I have just got myself a Canon A570is...

Somehow in M mode, my pictures turn out so dark (without flash altho there is adequate lighting )

plus i read somewhere that in potrait mode i should change aperture to highest but using this cam i cant seem to..

all sifuz... please help.. and any tips on how to take a good shot =)
