Help me switching to IOS

My last iPhone was Iphone 4 and 3GS. I switched to Android after Installous was shutdown back then (in era where we will install SBSettings in our jalibroken iPhone). Android is great due to numerous apps in Google Play and also APK from XDA. After some time, i felt like switching back to IOS. I heavily relied on below apps in Android, and i need the similar or alternative app in IOS.

1. File Explorer - I use ES File Explorer and MiX Explorer. These apps support local file manager, as well as ability to connect to SAMBA and FTP. I need this to connect to my NAS at home. Also I can easily transfer files between my phone and remote server.

2. Video Player - I use MX Player, because it support almost all major codecs. I will use file manager stated above, and open the media using MX Player - direct stream to my HP. Last time i check IOS doesnt have this kind of app, unless I enable DLNA on server side, but DLNA require more processing on the server (transcoding).

3. Remote uTorrent/Transmission app - because i have a torrent client running in my NAS/server, i need to control (stop, start, add, remove) it conveniently using my phone. Android app used for this - Transdrone

4. Wifi scanner and analyzer app. Due to my work nature, sometimes i need to use this app to check the wireless signal strength and checking for wireless congestion/business.

Side note: I have Synology NAS, and I noticed the number of apps published in App Store is lesser than Google Play (example DS Get and Synology Active Insight are not in App Store), may be due to restrictions? Because i was under impression that developer will publish on App Store first before anything else.

GTX1050Ti vs other mid range card

Can someone explain why the 1050Ti is the most popular card for mid-range? I know one of the advantage is have relatively low TDP, around 75w max and not fussy about PSU requirement. Is this card still relevant today since the price is spike after the MCO, hovering rm300-rm500 in garage sales? I understand that 1650 is meant for 1050Ti replacement, but why this card is less favorable compared to 1050Ti? Lastly, will it be wise if i swap my GTX970 4G with 1050Ti?

Hello guys,

I have a NAS running 24/7 at home. I'm looking for a scanner or AIO/MFP with network connectivity (LAN or Wireless) that can send the scanned document to my NAS via ftp/tftp/samba.

Some of the scanner out there support sending the document to USB drive, but i'm still looking for my ultimate requirement, ability to send it to my NAS.

hi all,

want to get advised from LYN members, im thinking of getting either of this phone (2nd hand). Both are totally different platform but i just want to focus on the GPS services from the phone.

Comparing these two phone, which one is having the best GPS accuracy and speed? To be specific, I will install Garmin Mobile Xt in the phone. So far as i know, ASUS P750 is fitted with SiRF Star III chipset, which is considered strong and reliable brand, N82 i don't know what chipset it use.

CD DRIVE MISSING

hi all,

i have a problem with my asus A6R notebook.

when I'm installing fresh installation of Windows Xp, while loading the setup files, suddenly the cd drive is missing. I've checked in BIOS, it is detected properly and in WINDOWS also the drive is recognized.
I've tried several method to confirm this, I'm trying to run the linux live cd, firstly it boot from the cd without any problem, then where it comes to hardware detection, it say no cd drive is detected.
I've been using this laptop for a year and nothing such this error happens.
I want to reflash the bios, but there are no new bios update are being released (i'm using the latest bios).
i'm really hope that anybody can give me an opinion to recover this problem.
