Last time oyster sauce really nice, nowadays it smell and taste like chemicals. The ingredient content list 11% oyster extract, but I didn’t feel any oyster taste except saltiness and chemical flavour.

I think in HK they have premium oyster sauce with higher oyster extract than what I see in our current day market. Maybe during the older days our oyster sauce is also of premium quality?
