Usahawan Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor dikompaun RM20,000.00 kerana tidak mematuhi standard operasi piawai (SOP) bagi mengekang Covid-19.

Ketua Polis Daerah Dang Wangi ACP Mohamad Zainal Abdullah berkata usahawan itu dikompaun kerana tidak memastikan penjarakan Sosial sewaktu majlis akad nikahnya di sebuah hotel di ibu negara pada 27 April.

Neelofa juga didapati bersalah melanggar tujuan rentas negeri yang dibenarkan.

Tiada diskaun dibenarkan untuk menyelesaikan kompaun itu, kata polis.

Suami Neelofa, Muhammad Haris Mohd Ismail pula dikompaun RM10,000.00, juta tanpa diskaun, atas kesalahan melanggar kebenaran rentas negeri.

Manakala 20 orang anggota keluarga Neelofa yang hadir dalam majlis perkahwinan itu dikompaun masing-masing RM1,5000 kerana gagal memastikan penjarakan fizikal.

Mohamad Zainal berkata kesemua kompaun dikeluarkan hari ini dengan jumlah keseluruhan sebanyak RM60,000.00.

“Justeru, pihak PDRM menasihati orang ramai supaya terus mematuhi Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB).

“Kegagalan mematuhi perintah ini membolehkan tindakan diambil di bawah peruntukan undang undang yang masih berkuatkuasa,” katanya.
