Looking for RAM upgrade from 2x2gb to...
1. 2x4gb (cost around 220)
2. 1x2gb, 1x8gb (cost around 250)
3. 1x8gb (cost around 250)
Which one faster, better for future upgrade? (Need 16gb in the future?)

Also I'm wondering if the different between 1333mhz and 1600mhz is noticeable? Price difference about rm20 each.

Corsair Vengeance vs ValueRam

Quick question, how much difference in term of performance of these 2?

[CORSAIR VENGEANCE 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ NOTEBOOK RAM]

ValueRam cost around RM210 which Corsair cost around RM280.
Both at 1600mhz.

Does the performance difference noticeable?

I understand that 2x4gb dual channel would give better performance, but considering getting 1x8gb so i buy get another 1 in the future, is this a right move?

* My Dell notebook is currently running on 4gb ram, i5, 64bit Windows 7. For working purpose, always open lots of programs and only shutdown/reboot once every 2 weeks, more or less.

Nissan Aircon Service

Is the aircon service for Nissan cars all about the same?

I'm from Penang. During my Livina 40k service they suggested to service the aircon in next service, cost around 420.
They will take out the aircon, change filter etc.

Then I asked my bro in KL who just serviced his Slyphy 40k also, his cost is 250.

I called back my Nissan service center and asked, they said Slyphy or Livina aircon service also 420.
And they "took out" the aircon and wash. (Aren't all aircon service will take out and wash?)

So... Why is the price different so much? Any idea/suggestion?

You might notice that most of the pages within Yes/mYprize" domain were removed.
However, you can still get some screenshots/wording through Google cache and other website that blog about this event.
The discussion within developers in LinkedIn was deleted as well. (I'm 1 of the participants who successfully make it to 2nd round)

After more than a year delay, I finally received an update from the committee. Guess what, the competition is now ended with "NO WINNER" because "the panel of judges regretfully did not find any submission that met the standard required to win mYprize."

I beg your pardon? Did I missed out the clause that the organizer reserved the rights to cancel the competition?
Hundreds over brilliant ideas and prototypes submitted to the competition is now worth USD150 each.

Did you organize this competition just to fulfill your marketing strategy?
Is this how you going to end a competition where all the entrepreneurs put their best effort to participate?

How Much Would You Sell Your Photo?

Hi there,

I'm looking for some feedback and quick survey for those who likes to shoot photos especially panoramic photos, how much would you consider selling a printing copyright to a customer who likes your photo?

I'm running a wooden framing and canvas printing service at PhotoFrame.com.my and planning to setup an printing gallery.

The problem I came across is I notice lots of photographers willing to provide their photo for free. (They are so glad people likes their photo)
But from the internet survey I notice also the printing copyright can shoot to a very high price.
At the same time, local consumer (Malaysia) are less interested in paying for "copyright".

So between free and expensive, what you think is a suitable price for you, as a photographer, to sell your photo printing right.

Any Photostat Machine That Can Print PDF?

Any idea?
I want to print a few pdf files which would be thousand of pages.
Using printer doesn't seems fit because thousand pages could cost a toner which means hundreds of ringgit.

I notice some photostat service give 0.03 per page so wondering can photostat machine print pdf files?

Garmin 765 Quick Question

I'm looking for a gps that does these 2 functions:
1. GPS
2. Play music via car radio

So I end up with Garmin 765 because it has media player + FM transmitter.

I read from some oversea forumt that the FM transmitter able to sync so when I play music with the 765 the sound will come out through car radio.

But when i check with local seller, they say cannot.

So.... Any 765 owner please help help.

FREE 4G Internet with Ads

This is the pool to survey if you would use the free 4G Wifi service with some trade off.
Please consider the available option carefully.

The "ads" above is referring to a 20 seconds full screen HD video advertisement which appear every 20 minutes WITHOUT buffering.

The idea of free internet is to allow everyone to online no matter where you are and who you are.
Some of us only use the internet outside our house once a while, so do we really have to signup packages that pay for every month?

I understand that the ads could be annoying as it might interrupt your web browsing.
Kindly consider the situation that if you currently DO NOT subscribe to any Paid Wifi Service, and you want to connect to internet in restaurant, waiting at bus, etc; Which service would you turn to?
The free internet or subscribe to a daily pass?

I also understand some of you prefer to pay for premium service instead of free service. (Option 5 is your vote)

Introduction
When sky is the limit, bandwidth and speed no longer concerns to 4G, internet no longer a luxury and can be access by EVERYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE without worrying the fees or the signal strength. The changes of this infrastructure business model will benefits all 3 parties, the users, the advertisers, the provider and bring our countrywide communication to next level.

Another benefit of countrywide free internet access is to improve the internet security.
By connecting to known secured network of 4G with any device, users can avoid using unsecured public network at wifi hotspot or airport. Connecting to public wifi is always risky because you never know who the one setting up that public wifi network is. (Imagine there are 5 “Free Airport Wifi” detected in KLIA, which one should you trust?)
The network owner can monitor everything you do. I'm not saying that they are, but they can.

To support the idea, revenue sources are to be identified.
