Hi all,

After a while using lowyat forum, i observe that some would like to make remarks and comments that are not helpful and down right ill intention. What is the motivation behind these remarks? Is there consideration that what we say here might impact others out there? Cyber-bullying and etc had been rising daily, are we not aware and aiming to be better than that?

I am not refering to differing in opinion when visiting forum but out right ill intention posting.

What is your thought? My washer refuse to work so I search the internet for contact, this particular place website pop up and I engaged their service.

They took my washing machine away on Monday and return it today, but to my horror they broke all the clips that is suppose to cover the control panel, denting the control panel and scratching it! Worst is yet to come, the bottom plate of my washing machine gone missing! Apparently after the repair they don’t bother to put it back!

I contacted the shop immediately and u know what? They actually accused that my washing machine is too old that is why the clip broke ! And that my washing machine is without the bottom plate cover!

Omg I told the person on the phone that I saw his worker cart away my washing machine and the bottom was not like this with fully expose wire and stuff...the person on the line shouted (shouting and swearing) at me to stop bothering them and hang up on me!

I am angry, sadden and lost at what to do with my washing machine, especially after paying almost rm400 for this service!

I hope u will benefit from my misfortune and stupidness and will not suffer from this idiot, not good con job fella!

Avoid this shop at all cost! If u value your appliance a and your hard earned money!

Con shop is located at Sri petaling and goes by the name kawanu, here is the link that I hope u never suffer the same as me

Avoid this shop - https://kawanu.com/

Aluminium Window

Hi all,

I got a question hope to get your advice. In the existing house there is a set of windows and door (aluminium sliding) that is old with an outdated pattern, plenty of crossing that makes the window look small-ish. Is there a way to modify this pattern without re- do a new set? Any method to “remove” the unwanted cross pattern ie cutting it away?

I got no knowledge in this matter and consulted few windows maker who is either not willing or dunno how to do it, hopefully sifu here can shed some light

Mazda 6 - Horror Story or Comedy?

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share my experience and also ask for help. I own and drive a Mazda 6, 2011 model 2.5. The car currently is at 89k km. It finish its warranty sometime back. It was a nice car to begin with until some of the problems started. Firstly, the car vibrate and shake since 70k km, thinking that it was a idling rpm problem (and was told it is by the service centre) I got it service and tune by a mazda centre. The vibration improve but slowly it came back. I learned to live with the fact that a premium D segment Japanese car shake like my previous 15 years old wira...sigh.

Now this is what makes me boil, lately the passenger side dashboard started to melt...yes MELT...it become sticky, goeey and clay like.....in other words...it melted. I lodge a report and send the car to mazda centre in Oct. Now, they first said no problem will filed for warranty claim. After 1 month, they called and told me that they cannot claim for the dashboard due to 1. The car is out of warranty....2. service record of my car after 60k km was not with them....err mazda warranty is till 60k or 5 years...after that I am free to service outside right?

Even so, putting aside where I service the car; how is that relevant to the dashcover? changing engine oil will melt the dash cover? not changing the air filter will melt it? or did not flush the coolant will make the cover melt?

Now what should I do? what can I do?
