Attention seeking baby

Dear All, I am a father of a 3 month old baby boy.
This fella love to play with people, when he was left alone he will start talking to himself then after a while he will cry.
So when we attend to him and carry him, he will stop crying.
After you put him back he will start crying.

Can anyone advice if there are any method to train him up so he can entertain himself and let the mother do her stuff?

Dell inspiron 14r n4010

Hi, I have an old laptop, DELL inspiron 14R n4010 model.
I have done a clean format and had installed every driver.
However there is 1 driver, which is the graphic driver.
For your reference this model do not have a graphic card, it uses the motherboard graphic.
the default driver it detected and installed is VGA driver but this is not the correct driver i've remember.
the correct driver should be Intel HD graphic XXXX, i could not find the driver on the internet and most of the driver from intel is for 64 bit.

However I am using ori window home basic, i run a window updates.
The updates automatically installed me the new driver!! which is Intel HD graphic! horay!!

BUT

there are some problem with this driver as it gives a random crash and hang when using the laptops....

Seeking for some help here....

Seasonal knee pain

Dear lowyat member,

Recently I have some problem on my left knee, it's pain. Maybe due to excessive standing because i had been standing a lot for the past few days (working purpose).

Now i can feel my knee join very pain. I uses my hand to try to press it can fell the pain.

Later after work I'm heading to guardian pharmacy to get something to apply on my joint to ease the pain, any suggestion?

Toshiba Warranty Repair

Dear Forumer,

I had bought a Toshiba laptop from a reputative forumer in this forum, I went to his shop and pay cash in the purchase. During that time the seller claims that if there is any problem can send back to his shop and he will send for warranty.

After 2-3 weeks of light usage, the unit got problem as in the LCD screen. I quickly send back to him to claim warranty, he promised that he will send to warranty and asked me to wait 2 weeks because it will take 2 weeks to repair.

After 2 weeks i called and he said haven't repair. I waited for few days,

After few days he said toshiba factory no parts and asked me to wait again,

After 1 month i called him and he says Monday will arrive,

Called him during monday he sayd laptop recieved but still got problem and send it back to repair.

I was very curious as well as furious because :

I need to use the laptop for business purpose, very inconvinient for me
It's already 1 month plus
I paid full amount for a new laptop, now it becomes a old laptop...

So, i called toshiba factory and they helped me check...They recieve my laptop last friday, before that they never receive my unit before.

WHICH MEANS,

The seller lied to me....during these period my laptop was in his possession...

What action should i do?
Can I demand refund? or change a new unit? or even top up to get other model?

I had already sick of waiting and i think i deserve compensation...

This issue had been bugging my mind for sometimes, I am looking for a condo unit as my 1st property.

I found some ground floor unit which offers me a very attractive price. I had seek advice from some of my friends and they said ground floor not good, very smelly, very noisy.

BUT it is cheaper than other unit.

Hereby I would like to seek advice from people here who are more experience in this field.

The unit which i was offered is at Palm Spring Damansara.

Hi, I am facing a difficult situation here.

I am a supervisor working in a F&B cafe. The business of the cafe is not really looking well for the past few month,
the boss decided to close down the cafe for 1 week because they need time to prepare a new set of menu and concept for the cafe.

In this 1 week time everyone are not required to come to work.

My question is...

1, Do the boss have the rights to cut of our 1 week salary due to the closure of the cafe? meaning giving us unpaid leave.
