Require Advice for Secondhand Cars

Greetings,

I have a car which is Proton Gen 2 (2004) and is practically a tank. It has come a long way and its mileage is around 230k. I even drove it through someone's rubber estate many times (shortcut but stopped doing that). Of course since it is an old time car, it had showed wear and tear. Gearbox leak (flywheel oil seal), the seats are tearing (just on driver side coz apparently I have a knife butt), rewired aircond relay because compressor blew up before (something to do with fusebox, probably shorted), and probably few minor others. Perhaps maybe it is time for me to get a new car? Specifically a secondhand car and I have few in mind that I would need advice from.

1. Mercedes Benz C180 (A) 2.0 Elegance (2003): RM 19,000 to RM 22,000

I am a fan of Mercedes but I am having thoughts about having one since it is a luxury brand thus I am thinking about how will the maintenance cost me per year, spare parts price, fuel consumption, and so on. The mileage on this Merc I'm eyeing on is around 150k to 200k and still looks good.

2. Mazda 3 (A) 1.6 Sedan Base Spec (2006): RM 17,000 to RM 19,000

I have seen them on roads lately and really love the sporty looks but I have little knowledge on this brand and on this car. Will it be good in the long run? The mileage on this Mazda is around 100k to 150k. Have comments about them saying that they can hear the tyre noise, spacing issue, and what not.

3. Kia Forte (A) 1.6 EX Sedan (2010): RM 18,000 to RM 20,000

I too saw them lately in my hometown and thought, damn, that is one nice looking car. Heard they are from the Naza group I think but having thoughts since my dad owns a Naza Ria and it kept overheating and giving problems until my dad changed the engine to Mitsubishi. Don't know if that's related. Mileage is at 100k to 120k.

4. BMW 320i (A) 2.0 E90 Sport (2005): RM 22,000 to RM 25,000

A fan of BMW before but changed my mind after seeing the maintenance it cost per year and so forth. Just a honorable mention. Mileage is at 70k to 75k.

5. Audi A4 (A) 2.0 Sedan (2006): RM 22,000 to RM 24,000

Having thoughts to get one before but seeing the problem it faced along with how high it is to maintain the 4 ring brand, I began to doubt. Again, honorable mention. Mileage is at 120k to 140k.

Basically, these are what I got for now. Looking for something that is other than Proton, Perodua, and Honda, mainly because my family already have them so I'm thinking to get another brand. What I am looking for is a car that would last me long, affordable maintenance cost per year, spare parts, fuel consumption, and of course, having a sporty look. Spacious is a bonus though since I will be bringing my family for jalan-jalan. Looking forward to any advice and recommendation. Regards.

Decisions to make

Greetings to all gentle-boys and gentle-girls,

You see, I am ready to further my Bachelor studies in Graphic Design but I can't seem to make a choice, and so I've come here to seek help in choosing the right one. Actually, I did roll into UiTM earlier 2015 as they offered me Bachelor in Creative Writing (even though I asked for another Graphic Design related courses) but I wasn't doing too well since I'm more interested in stuffs like Photoshopping, Vegas, digital design kind of work, not 18th century article writing...literally. I've asked to change course but they won't let me due to students often use it as a stepping stone in the past and the only choice I have is to quit, apply again yada yada yada but applied 3 times already, all rejected.

Enough about that. And so I've applied (and got a place) for University of Hertfordshire in England for September/2016 intake but considering MYR has pummeled, I need to have another backup plan as well. Been searching for a good local university in Graphic Design and here's on my watch list for now:

UCSI
Taylor's
One Academy
MMU
Unisel

My question is, which of these are a good one? Or are there any other good universities that offered a Bachelor in Graphic Design that I do not know of? Do suggest me one and give the pros and cons as well as it will help me a lot

Plus, do let me know if there's any scholarship/loan/etc. for overseas study.

Thank you for your time and may you have a lovely day~
