Donald Trump is poised to eliminate all climate change research conducted by Nasa as part of a crackdown on “politicized science”, his senior adviser on issues relating to the space agency has said.

Nasa’s Earth science division is set to be stripped of funding in favor of exploration of deep space, with the president-elect having set a goal during the campaign to explore the entire solar system by the end of the century.

The researchers who started and spread the hashtag have not called out any political figures, or made any explicit political statements around it. But context is important: On Wednesday, top Trump adviser Bob Walker told the Guardian that the new presidential administration will cut Earth science research at NASA. He suggested that the agency will lose the more than 40% of its funding dedicated to understanding our own planet, and be instructed to turn its attention instead toward exploration and deep space research.

Why? Walker suggested that it has to do with NASA’s focus on what he called “politically correct environmental monitoring.”

China has rejected Donald Trump’s claims that climate change is a Chinese hoax, urging the US president-elect to take a “smart decision” over his country’s commitment to the fight against global warming.

China is reminding the president-elect of the United States that they didn't make up global warming, really.

China’s Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin told reporters that Trump’s previous claims that the country had created global warming to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive simply couldn’t be true because other Republican presidents worked on climate negotiations.

“If you look at the history of climate change negotiations, actually it was initiated by the IPCC with the support of the Republicans during the Reagan and senior Bush administration during the late 1980s,” Liu said according to a Bloomberg story published Wednesday.

In 2012, Trump tweeted that the concept was fictionalized by the Chinese.

An editorial from the state-run Global Times news outlet suggests that, should Trump make good on his campaign promise to declare China a currency manipulator and raise tariffs on imported goods, China's government could respond by blocking the import of US goods to the mainland, with the Apple iPhone in particular getting special mention.

"China will take a tit-for-tat approach then," the article promises. "A batch of Boeing orders will be replaced by Airbus. US auto and iPhone sales in China will suffer a setback, and US soybean and maize imports will be halted."

While Azmin offered RM4.2billion for total equities+liabilities

Long version TLDR
So, in the Feb 20, 2013 offer, of the RM9.56 billion, RM1.584 billion was offered to Splash for liabilities and only RM250.6 million was offered for equity takeover, and not RM2.975 billion as (Selangor Menteri Besar) Datuk Seri Azmin Ali had claimed. It is as if he is using the RM2.975 billion figure to justify his RM2.7 billion equity offer. He isn’t supposed to do that, because that would mean that the state government is actually offering Splash a total of RM4.2 billion. He can’t just present a letter showing the figure and say that was an actual offer. Perhaps, this is where some experience in corporate banking and merchandising will help (him). Unfortunately, he didn’t go through that.
