Update: I bought the Realme 6 for RM779 on 27/3 Lazada Bday including Lazada RM20 voucher. Hopefully serves me well. Will leave thread open in case useful for others

Surveying phones right now cos my Mi A1 is dying. With the Lazada bday sale tmrw, a lot of phones got pretty decent deals

Redmi Note 9S is also due to be released in 2 weeks for RM899
Poco X2 idk what is the status

All of them have pros and cons for me. 2 largest factors for me is sub RM1000 and 128GB.

Also @ Honor 20 user, got any problem with the US trade ban? All google apps working? Android 10 got? I know everything supposed to be ok but just want to triple confirm.

Want to use Unifi TV STB with Home Turbo

From what I understand, unifi home turbo 100Mbps @ RM129 doesn't support the Unifi TV with the set-top box. Can only use the app.

I want to change to this from my VIP 5 from many years ago. What options do I have if I want to remain using the set-top box? I just want the basic channels that I have now. How much would it cost?

Cannot really find the information I'm looking for online. This only shows the premium add-ons and I don't know if its compatibility is with the unifi home turbo package I'm looking at.

I think I got scammed

So last week a guy on mudah was advertising a computer processor for RM500. After conversing with him via WhatsApp, I eventually decided to pay him the money via Maybank bank-in. on Sunday He said he would post on Monday but did not reply at all. On Tuesday he said he just came back from outstation and since it was Wesak, he would post on Wednesday. On Wednesday, he told me he would send a runner out at 4 to post, and then never replied me back. On Thursday, he gave me a tracking number: EM230846148MY that showed no record. I assumed pos laju was being ineffective as this has happened to me before. Till now, no record.

He never sent me the post slip (said was in his company car and would send today). Now he has gone completely dark and calling the phone goes straight to voicemail. His Mudah profile (which was created on 17th May) has been deleted and I cannot find any evidence of this person on the internet.

Not sure what to do now, I can provide details including bank account number, company name associated to acc no, sellers alleged name and phone number and anything else I may possibly have if anyone can assist me.

Sorry for long post, very worried now as I am a student.

Android random popup ads on every screen

Using Xiaomi Mi A1 updated to the latest February update.
Android Oreo.

After the most recent update (may or may not be related) which I got an hour ago, I have been getting random ads as seen in the pictures. They don't seem to come from a particular app as they appear even when I'm on Chrome or antivirus software. The small one also remains on every screen even on the home page when I press the home button.

There are 2 types of ways the as comes. Small ad and big ad.
The full screen ad as seen in image 2 sends me here http://cat.hk.as.criteo.com/delivery/..... or opens up the page in some app that shows the Android Oreo logo as seen in image 1.
The small as appears anywhere and remains until x-ed out.

Switching off modem and router when not using

Question 1

Is it a good idea to switch the modem and router off when not in use? I do not need the telephone line, internet or IPTV at night so wondering if it's okay to switch off.

Will it affect broadband speeds etc? Some say the internet must be left on for 10 days straight to reach it's optimal performance.

Hoping to have some light shed, ty.

Question 2
Why don't downloads happen at the advertised speeds? I have 10Mbps internet and speedtests back it up as 10Mbps but when downloading it tends to hang around 1Mbps max. What's the reason for this?

Burn audio cd for car

Having trouble burning an album to a 700mb/80min 52x CD-R.

I used imgburn and just copied everything over and it doesn't play in my car or on other cd players. Only my computer can view and play the files. I downloaded the songs from the internet and it came with a .m3u file which is supposedly a pointer for cd players but it did not work with my car.

Any idea how I should properly create an audio cd for my car?

Some say consume=noLaws and purchase=18 but many say both 18. Kindly include source as I can't find any specific laws regarding either.

My Pineng PN 963 10000mA powerbank doesn't output charge. After charging to max this morning, the display screen only shows 100% IN.

Item(s) conditions: Aesthetically a typical well kept 1 year old keyboard. Very sturdy metal cased keyboard. Keycaps not faded etc so it's practically in great condition with the exception of:
HERE'S THE PROBLEM
The 'S' key is faulty. I would have attempted a fix but lack the resources because the K551 is plate mounted. If you're a keyboard modder, I'm sure you're more than accustomed to desoldering all the switches and maybe you have your preferred brand of switches to replace them with. Tried warranty claim but TDC Gaming refuses wear-and-tear. Item sold as is.
