TM fix line application

Hi guys recently i went over to uptown damansara TM point to apply for the blockbuster deal. Turn out they need to go send a "technical team" to find out either my house telephone line is connected or not. FYI the house im applying for is a new town house just behind BU8. Been almost 3 weeks everytime i call helpdesk they said wait. Dont really understand what to wait for connecting a phone line. Any tips seems like im pretty lost.
