Analysis

Bandar Mahkota Cheras is no stranger to many and with its many amenities in the heart of the township, it is one of the popular areas to call home for many nowadays. However, Bandar Mahkota Cheras is also known for their alarming crime rates. It has also been in the news for all the wrong reasons during these recent years as crime rates continue to soar within the vicinity.

Local residents also felt uneasy with the growing number of foreign workers within the township as they do not feel secure enough even if security guards are stationed in the residential estates. As the name implies, Sri Hijau is sited right besides a small green hill. Even though the land might be developed soon, residents enjoy the lush greenery view of the hill.
