Suda-51 and Akira Yamaoka's new "pop" zombie game from Grasshopper Manufacture stars a chainsaw-wielding cheerleader.

The new game is called Lollipop Chainsaw, and it lets players assume the role of the chainsaw wielding cheerleader Juliet. When her high school is overrun with zombies, Juliet's family history of zombie hunting comes in handy. Combining her cheerleading acrobatics and a deft hand with the chainsaw, Juliet takes the fight to the zombie hordes.

Lollipop Chainsaw will be published in Japan by Kadokawa Games but does not have a release window yet. No international release plans for the game have been announced.

Interesting game found on XBOX Live. Tried the demo and almost wanted to buy immediately.. but 1200 points is like RM60 - with this price can get 1-2 discounted games on Play Asia already. Hoping the price will reduce in the future.

Anyway those who have not tried the demo, I think you will not regret it. It reminds me of ICO although they are different in many ways.

DEAD RISING is one of my favourite games.

DEAD RISING 2 has 4 parts

[attachmentid=1756362] A downloaded xbox exclusive episode called "CASE ZERO" which provides the linkage between DEAD RISING 1 and 2, released on AUG 31
[attachmentid=1793590] Another DLC xbox exclusive episode called "CASE WEST".
"Off the record" A disc-based full game largely based on Dead Rising 2, but the main character is changed to Frank West, from DR1. The ending is different from DR2, but the survivors and psycopaths are mainly the same.

CASE ZERO and CASE WEST is available on XBOX Live now (it is regional lock however. meaning if you are a SG account user, you will need a SG IP to download it)

Moving the Elite HDD to Arcade

I am currently using Elite with a 120GB HDD.

I have a chance to get an Arcade as a spare from Hong Kong soon. (It's only HKD1299/RM530 by the way, provided still got stock)

Question : in case my Elite dies, but the HDD survives, can i just take out the HDD and attach it to Arcade?
Let's assume i never created any profile and has no saves or whatsoever on my Arcade.

Cancelling my Gold account

I have signed up for the "Gold for $1" package and entered my credit card details under the payment options.

I do not wish to continue after 1 month as I seldom play online. Howver I noticed that

1) I cannot remove my credit card details - because my cc is currently linked to the Gold service
2) The renewal is set to auto and I cannot cancel it either
3) I can't even cancel the GOLD service (I still have 20+ days left)

I tried doing these through XBOX as well as through PC but I just can't cancel it
I am not in a hurry but when its due to renewal I do not wish to continue the GOLD membership.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Problem staying connected with VPN

Problem details

Problem description:

Most of the time I use this 2.0Mbps line to download from file servers like hotfile. No issue at all. When surfing, its also smooth and no disconnection. Overall I am happy with streamyx. Problem occurs when I connect to my office's VPN from home (use company laptop to connect to company VPN, from home). It keeps disconneting. My wife works for another company, and she also experience the same problem.

However both of us did not experience any VPN disconnection problem, in another unit of the same apartmenet (our parents' unit).

Anyone experience the same, any advice what I can do / check? I am noob in this.

Plasma TV with 1,024 x 768

Dear all,

I am planning to get a plasma for watching Astro purpose, and due to my apartment has central dish, Astro Byond is not available to me now. So my purpose is really to watch normal Astro SD programs.

I saw this panasonic TV that has 1024*768 pixels (which is 4:3 = nice for Astro)

However the screen size / ratio is 16 : 9 according to the spec. This is the part that I am confused. The actual TV screen will be 16:9 if i am not mistaken?

Can anyone help me to understand this? is this good for watching Astro?

Disposing an old computer

Hi guys,

I have an old desktop which i plan to dispose off soon.

I have already forgotten what is stored in the HDD, but I want to make sure the files are not accessible to anyone. Is there anything I can do to destroy the data? I do not want to connect it to my new desktop as I am afraid there is corrupted data / virus in this old HDD.

Advises will be appreciated.

I am planning to assemble a desktop, mainly for surfing and downloading videos (download only, not watch, I watch on TV using WDTV Live), and listen to some music.

Here is my set up :

processor Core i5 - 750
MOBO MSI MS7636 H55M-E33 ---- chose this due to low price, and have 3 video outputs incl HDMI. Also the audio output support 5.1 channel.
RAM Kingston KVR1333 DDR3 (1x2GB) ---- I think 2GB is enough
O/S Windows 7 home prem
HDD 500GB 16M(WD) ---- I have 2 1TB EXT HDD
SPEAKER ENZO 4000 (already own)

I have checked the MOBO Is compatible with the CPU and also compatible with Win7.
I plan to get these from PC DEPOT.

Any comments / advice are welcome!

I have a 360 now, and I am thinking of getting another one because at times I live in different places and I don't want to carry my 360 around.

I plan to play different games at both locations so I am not worried about saved games.

I wanted to know if I can actually use the same profile on the 2 units of 360?

Demo download auto paused when play game

When I start playing a game, the demo download will automatically stop.
I am not playing an online game (playing Lost Odyssy now). Therefore the download should continue even if I am playing a game.

While in the game, I tried pressing the Xbox button, go to active download, select the demo and select download now, but it does not seem to work.

Anyone can help me with this?

Hi all sifus,

WTA 2 questions,

1) I am getting a unmodded elite soon. I plan to play offline for the first few months, since my modem is kinda far away, and I don't plan to get the wireless USB. Question is will my achievement points accumulated carried forward to my gamer tag, once I register my gamer tag few months later when I go online?

2) Which country shall I register? I am getting a SG set. Does it matter?

Cannot download videos from US PSN

PS3 Hardware Defect Problem

i was playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma and the game hanged. so i quit the game and return to the PS3 menu. and i found the game disc icon missing... i restart/power off/reset but still my ps3 can't detect the game, i tried a different game, the same thing happen! after the game is inserted, there is icon turning (meaning reading disc i guess) but nothing comes up...

pls help...

When reading posts, I can't see any avatar of forumers even though they do have an avatar (I can see their avatar in their respective profile page).

I also cannot see smilies. I see words like "peace", "clap" instead of the smiliey pics.

I suspect its gotta do with my personal setting. But I can't find the control to change this.

Avanza 1.5 fuel consumption

i recently bought an Avanza 1.5 (auto)

i find the fuel consumption quite high. I am averaging at 20 cents per km. (at 1.80/liter)
i drive at Penang Island mostly. Sometimes highway, sometimes jam.
have been using Esso. But i will switch to Shell to test to see any diff.

can anyone tell me if this is normal? any recommendation on what fuel to use?

system startup issue

I have a pentium celeron 1.7Ghz (ya, its so old)

I have a regular problem here -

when turning it on , often there is a blank screen on the monitor , although there are lights on my system (i mean casing). So I will have to turn off the electricity, then turn it on again. The second time always work, i will see startup screen on monitor.

wonder is it something to do with power or mobo or...

Far Cry 2 glitch?

finally completed this game. dunno its just me, or ...

1) When play online the graphic quality is like PS2 graphic. maybe its my connection?
so far i tried once only Online. then with the bad graphic i decided not to play anymore.

2) Half way thru the game (when proceed to the second map), i lost all my trophies. the game auto re-install trophies for me..and i lost those i gained during first part of the game.
not particular abt trophies so didn't really bother.

anyone else experience this?
