Guys and Girls,

Got some question need to seek your know-hows.

I have got a tunecard prepaid credit card. Inside got some money ler.

I dont wish to have some much balance in it fearing the card may get stolen/lost/etc.

So I am wondering if there is any way (most economical) to withdraw some of the money from the card?

I know can withdraw from ATM. But if i do this, it'd be very expensive for the transaction cost.

Thank you!!

Virus Attack!

Hi all.

My company-issued laptop is currently infected by virus.
Currently, the antivirus program (Symantec Endpoint Protection) had been disabled by the virus and i cannot re-enable it.
I cannot use "run" from the start button.
I cannot get to the "task manager" as well.
I am not sure what else is missing apart from the above items.

From the pinned post by AsunDURE, i tried to first use the online-scanning options to scan what virus has infested by laptop.
However, as i dont have administrator access on the laptop (company-issued laptop), i cannot install or allow the active x installation.

I am trying to back up everything from the laptop and going to send it to the ITS department for reformatting. However, i am concern that if i plug in my external HDD to backup all the files, my HDD will be infected by the virus from the laptop.

So please advice on how should i mitigate this and at the same time, backing up important files and information (about 30gb in size)

TQ

[WTA] My Options Available, Future Career

First and foremost, I thank you for reading in here. I am opening this thread to discuss what my career options are. I am doing this so i would know each alternative's pros and cons to ensure i could balance each choice. Below are some background info regarding myself.

Currently, I am in my final year (5th semester) in Monash University. I am doing a bachelor of business and commerce majoring both Accounting and Finance. Regretably, my grades arent too flambouyant with only an average of 63.9375 (is this a second lower?)

When i graduate in June 08, what should i do? Should i go out to work immediately as a normal accounting assistant or should i immediately sign up with CPA Australia ? Other than this, what other options which i could venture into being an accounts major graduate? Pls provide me only with sensible replies and not some BS which some spammers would take opportunity of this thread.

Advice is appreciated...

ps: anyone who had recently taken CPA Australia? Could you tell me more about CPA Australia (structure and pathway) ?
