I just would like to know if anyone here has bought that laptop? Apparently it's quite new and I couldn't find any reviews online so it'd be great if someone can help me here. I spent some time with it yesterday but I need to know if there's any specific issues with the laptop.

Thinkpad R61 at Low Yat Plaza

Hi all,

I had been browsing through display Thinkpads at Low Yat Plaza but all I saw was the exact same-specced R61 model (and some el-cheapo-looking SL400). Almost all of the sellers price it at about RM 2000++ if I'm not mistaken.

As I am absolutely leaning towards Thinkpad if I ever want to buy a PC laptop (yeah I'm considering a Mac but I thought I wanna go easy on my pockets ), do you guys think that the aforementioned Thinkpad R61 is worth buying? Well, considering the fact that it is soooooo outdated and all..

Just asking some inputs here. Thank you in advance. Cheers.

Hi all, I just want to have an overview of what choices that I have if I want to buy a laptop with a backlit keyboard. I have been looking at Dell Latitude and Alu Macbook 2.4. Is there any laptop that I missed? I don't mind about other specifications. Thanks.

Hello all, I start this topic with the hope that i can make a very,very wise decision when the time has come for me to buy a new laptop(dunno when yet ). I'm a student and i hv to admit that i am a little bit rough when handling the laptops (hence the thinkpad vs fujitsu).

Before this, I've made two mistakes. yup TW0 for god's sake. First hp pav dv2201, second acer 4920g(im using it now). both have problems within 1 year of usage. Well, as they are both targeted at the mainstream user, i can understand the build quality (although I think the hp is better off).

so i googled many times and i surfed many websites to get to this point(yeah shud hv googled earlier, huhu). this time i'm not gonna make any mistakes anymore. muahaha.

so thinkpad vs fujitsu...any thoughts, experience, advice, or anything dear lowyatians?

(i just want to create a healthy discussion here, not in hurry to purchase any laptop. feel free to move my thread wherever appropriate, thanks moderators. And sorry for the overuse of brackets. hehe)

hi guys, i googled about how to set my screensaver as wallpaper. and i came across this site

i ve also tried vital desktop but it did not work for me(im using vista sp1)

then i downloaded screenpaper, as suggested by the above site, and i got the same problem as the guy in that forum. so... anyone has succeeded in setting your screensaver as wallpaper?
