is i have been asking around, but seems there is no firm answer so far. i am planning to buy SME set from forumer at garage sales, everybody saying their units are SME original, how do i know they are not giving me AP set but i am paying for original price?

Somebody suggest to check for SME sticker, but sticker can be fake right?

Any method such as taking the imei number can call samsung malaysia to check?

I check in VOD channel in STB there, but i see RM8/movie

Cant enter Windows, icon n taskbar all disappear.

i Cant enter Windows, when i login in my user account(with password), after the startup music, it seems hang, only wallpaper showed but icon n taskbar all disappear.

I waited for more than 5 minutes, still the same, then i try to go safe mode, also the same thing, the taskbar n desktop icon wont appear.

press Ctrl + Alt + Del, taskmanager pop-up, didnt c any suspicious activity.

i tried to use "new task", then browse into my document, i can right click n copy, then when i wish to paste, the taskmanager hangs..

i installed a new fresh copy of XP, but cant access to the previous user account, it states "access denied", seems to be the user account was protected by password..

so, please help, how can i backup my content in my document?

*(i wonder whether replace the "sam" file from
Windows\repair\

into

Windows\system32\config\

can work?

this can clear password, but is tht my document is still prohibited access?)
