About a month ago i received a call from a debt collector ( maha partners & co ) saying that i owe bank money cause of foreclosed house that happen a decade ago , i message maybank to ask about this and a bank officer call me and tell me there are no record of the so called debt , i told the debt collector what maybank say and the debt collector say only one branch know about this and ask me to call the branch , i massage maybank and provide the branch number and name of the guy that know about this . maybank reply say the number are valid so i ask maybank to check it once and for all and confirm the debt is true or not .
MY question is it possible that only one branch will know about this ? not even the bank officer that call me to know about this ?

cancellation of house loan

hi , i recently apply for house loan using project agent , and because of personal problem i decided to cancel the loan , i make a deposit of 2K and the agent say that if i cancel the loan it will forfeit the 2k , but if reject by bank then can get back 1.5K .

i want to ask if the loan approve and i didn't sign anything but cancel it , will anything happen ? do i need to go to bank to sign cancellation ? what if the bank approve and the agent didn't tell me , what will happen ?

is mbsb house loan good ?

hi , so i recently apply for house loan , the house loan is apply by the project agent . he apply for cimb , hong leong and AM bank , but it seems like my score is not enough so can only borrow 80% of the full amount , he told me if mbsb can borrow full amount but need to do some adjustment on the salary and ask me to ask my company to help change .
Anyway , is mbsb ok ? i can't find any good review about it ? i can only find bad review about it , should i even try that bank ? if your asking if i really want that house or not ? i would say i don't mind if it approve or reject .
also i don't have the extra money to pay the deposit for the other bank that can only borrow 80% only .

about blacklist at bank

when i was young my father buy a house using his and my name together , at that time i was about 20 but things gone bad when i was about 23 , we have issue with money so we can't pay the loan anymore , at that time we keep delaying paying loan and finally the bank took action and take back the house and sold it to other people , I'm not sure is sold by auction or not , the problem is that after the bank sold it , it still have balance for us to paid , but like i mention we have money issue so we just ignore , also the balance part i didn't know at first , is after few year then my father told me .
now I'm 35 , I just bought a house and waiting for the loan to approve , this morning i receive a call from that bank that sold my house when i was young and she ask me to pay for the balance .
now is my question for all this story , why now ? never call me before , how did they get my number ? is it because i bought a house ? i bought a car before , why they didn't call ? if i ignore this and refuse to pay what will happen ? apart from my house loan won't approve , anything other will happen ?

hi , I'm buying a studio soon at johor so were thinking how much that it cost to install ceiling fan , ceiling light , curtain rod , water pipe at toilet for my washing machine . not sure this is call a small renovation or not .
